Joel 3

1Ĉar jen en tiuj tagoj kaj en tiu tempo, kiam Mi revenigos la forkaptitojn de Judujo kaj de Jerusalem, 2Mi kolektos ĉiujn naciojn kaj venigos ilin en la valon de Jehoŝafat; kaj tie Mi faros super ili juĝon pro Mia popolo kaj Mia heredaĵo Izrael, kiun ili disĵetis inter la naciojn, dividinte Mian landon; 3kaj pro tio, ke ili lotis pri Mia popolo, fordonis knabon pro manĝaĵo kaj knabinon vendis pro vino, kaj drinkis. 4Kaj kion vi volas de Mi, ho Tiro, Cidon, kaj ĉiuj distriktoj Filiŝtaj? ĉu vi volas repagi al Mi? kaj se vi volos repagi al Mi, Mi facile kaj baldaŭ turnos vian repagon sur vian kapon. 5Mian arĝenton kaj Mian oron vi prenis, kaj Miajn plej bonajn valoraĵojn vi transportis en viajn templojn, 6kaj la filojn de Judujo kaj la filojn de Jerusalem vi vendis al la filoj de la Grekoj, por malproksimigi ilin de iliaj limoj; 7sed jen Mi vekos ilin el tiu loko, kien vi vendis ilin, kaj vian agon Mi turnos sur vian kapon; 8kaj Mi vendos viajn filojn kaj viajn filinojn en la manojn de la Judoj, kaj ĉi tiuj vendos ilin al la Ŝebaanoj, al popolo malproksima; ĉar la Eternulo tion diris. 9Proklamu tion inter la nacioj; pretiĝu al milito, veku la kuraĝulojn; ĉiuj militistoj leviĝu kaj eliru. 10Forĝu el viaj plugiloj glavojn, kaj el viaj rikoltiloj lancojn; la malfortulo diru: Mi estas forta. 11Rapidu kaj venu, ĉiuj nacioj de ĉiuj flankoj, kaj kolektiĝu; tien alkonduku, ho Eternulo, Viajn fortulojn. 12La popoloj leviĝu kaj iru en la valon de Jehoŝafat; ĉar tie Mi sidiĝos, por juĝi ĉiujn naciojn de ĉiuj flankoj. 13Svingu la rikoltilon, ĉar la rikoltaĵo estas matura; venu malsupren, ĉar la premejoj estas plenaj kaj la tinoj tropleniĝis; ĉar granda estas ilia malboneco. 14Amasoj post amasoj kolektiĝas en la valo de la juĝo, ĉar alproksimiĝas la tago de la Eternulo en la valo de la juĝo. 15La suno kaj la luno senlumiĝos, kaj la steloj perdos sian brilon. 16Kaj la Eternulo ektondros el Cion kaj aŭdigos Sian voĉon el Jerusalem; ektremos la ĉielo kaj la tero; sed la Eternulo estos rifuĝejo por Sia popolo, kaj fortikaĵo por la idoj de Izrael. 17Kaj vi ekscios, ke Mi, la Eternulo, estas via Dio, kiu loĝas en Cion, sur Mia sankta monto; kaj Jerusalem estos sanktejo, kaj fremduloj ne plu iros tra ĝi. 18En tiu tago la montoj elgutigos dolĉan sukon, el la montetoj fluos lakto, kaj ĉiuj torentoj de Judujo estos plenaj de akvo; kaj fonto eliros el la domo de la Eternulo kaj liveros akvon al la valo Ŝitima. 19Egiptujo fariĝos dezerto, kaj Edom fariĝos senviva dezerto, pro tio, ke ili premis la idojn de Jehuda kaj verŝis senkulpan sangon en sia lando. 20Sed Judujo estos loĝata eterne, kaj Jerusalem en ĉiuj generacioj. 21Kaj Mi venĝos pro ilia sango, kiu ne estis venĝita de Mi; kaj la Eternulo loĝados en Cion.

1“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, 2I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment on them there for my people, and for my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have divided my land, 3and have cast lots for my people, and have given a boy for a prostitute, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink. 4“Yes, and what are you to me, Tyre, and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Will you repay me? And if you repay me, I will swiftly and speedily return your repayment on your own head. 5Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried my finest treasures into your temples, 6and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, that you may remove them far from their border. 7Behold, I will stir them up out of the place where you have sold them, and will return your repayment on your own head; 8and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the children of Judah, and they will sell them to the men of Sheba, to a faraway nation, for Yahweh has spoken it.” 9Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Stir up the mighty men. Let all the warriors draw near. Let them come up. 10Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’ 11Hurry and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves together.” Cause your mighty ones to come down there, Yahweh. 12“Let the nations arouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there will I sit to judge all the surrounding nations. 13Put in the sickle; for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the wine press is full, the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.” 14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahweh is near, in the valley of decision. 15The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. 16Yahweh will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but Yahweh will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel. 17“So you will know that I am Yahweh, your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more. 18It will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters, and a fountain will flow out from Yahweh’s house, and will water the valley of Shittim. 19Egypt will be a desolation, and Edom will be a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land. 20But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. 21I will cleanse their blood, that I have not cleansed: for Yahweh dwells in Zion.”

1Want ziet, in die dagen en te dier tijd, als Ik de gevangenis van Juda en Jeruzalem zal wenden; 2Dan zal Ik alle heidenen vergaderen, en zal hen afvoeren in het dal van Josafat; en Ik zal met hen aldaar richten, vanwege Mijn volk en Mijn erfdeel Israel, dat zij onder de heidenen hebben verstrooid, en Mijn land gedeeld; 3En hebben het lot over Mijn volk geworpen en een knechtje gegeven om een hoer, en een meisje verkocht om wijn, dat zij mochten drinken. 4En ook, wat hebt gij met Mij te doen, gij Tyrus en Sidon, en alle grenzen van Palestina! Zoudt gij Mij een vergelding wedergeven? Maar zo gij Mij wilt vergelden, lichtelijk, haastelijk, zal Ik uw vergelding op uw hoofd wederbrengen. 5Omdat gij Mijn zilver en Mijn goud hebt weggenomen, en hebt Mijn beste kleinodien in uw tempels gebracht. 6En gij hebt de kinderen van Juda en de kinderen van Jeruzalem verkocht aan de kinderen der Grieken, opdat gij hen verre van hun landpale, mocht brengen. 7Ziet, Ik zal ze opwekken uit de plaats, waarhenen gij ze hebt verkocht; en Ik zal uw vergelding wederbrengen op uw hoofd. 8En Ik zal uw zonen en uw dochteren verkopen in de hand der kinderen van Juda, die ze verkopen zullen aan die van Scheba, aan een vergelegen volk; want de HEERE heeft het gesproken. 9Roept dit uit onder de heidenen, heiligt een krijg; wekt de helden op, laat naderen, laat optrekken alle krijgslieden. 10Slaat uw spaden tot zwaarden, en uw sikkelen tot spiesen; de zwakke zegge: Ik ben een held. 11Rot te hoop, en komt aan, alle gij volken van rondom, en vergadert u! (O HEERE, doe Uw helden derwaarts nederdalen!) 12De heidenen zullen zich opmaken, en optrekken naar het dal van Josafat; maar aldaar zal Ik zitten, om te richten alle heidenen van rondom. 13Slaat de sikkel aan, want de oogst is rijp geworden; komt aan, daalt henen af, want de pers is vol, en de perskuipen lopen over; want hunlieder boosheid is groot. 14Menigten, menigten in het dal des dorswagens; want de dag des HEEREN is nabij, in het dal des dorswagens. 15De zon en maan zijn zwart geworden, en de sterren hebben haar glans ingetrokken. 16En de HEERE zal uit Sion brullen, en uit Jeruzalem Zijn stem geven, dat hemel en aarde beven zullen; maar de HEERE zal de Toevlucht Zijns volks, en de Sterkte der kinderen Israels zijn. 17En gijlieden zult weten, dat Ik de HEERE, uw God ben, wonende op Sion, den berg Mijner heiligheid; en Jeruzalem zal een heiligheid zijn, en vreemden zullen niet meer door haar doorgaan. 18En het zal te dien dage geschieden dat de bergen van zoeten wijn zullen druipen, en de heuvelen van melk vlieten, en alle stromen van Juda vol van water gaan; en er zal een fontein uit het huis des HEEREN uitgaan, en zal het dal van Sittim bewateren. 19Egypte zal tot verwoesting worden, en Edom zal worden tot een woeste wildernis, om het geweld, gedaan aan de kinderen van Juda, in welker land zij onschuldig bloed vergoten hebben. 20Maar Juda zal blijven in eeuwigheid, en Jeruzalem van geslacht tot geslacht. 21En Ik zal hunlieder bloed reinigen, dat Ik niet gereinigd had; en de HEERE zal wonen op Sion.
