1Kaj mi, fratoj, venante al vi, venis ne kun supereco de parolo aŭ de saĝeco, proklamante al vi la misteron de Dio. 2Ĉar mi decidis scii ĉe vi nenion, krom Jesuo Kristo kaj tiu krucumita. 3Kaj mi estis ĉe vi en malforteco kaj en timo kaj en multa tremado. 4Kaj mia parolo kaj mia prediko estis ne en allogaj paroloj de saĝeco, sed en elmontro de la Spirito kaj potenco, 5por ke via fido estu ne laŭ la saĝeco de homoj, sed laŭ la potenco de Dio. 6Tamen ni parolas saĝecon inter plenaĝuloj, sed saĝecon ne de ĉi tiu mondo, nek de la regantoj de ĉi tiu mondo, kiuj neniiĝas; 7sed ni parolas la saĝecon de Dio en mistero, la saĝecon kaŝitan, kiun Dio antaŭdestinis antaŭ la mondaĝoj por nia glorado; 8kaj kiun scias neniu el la regantoj de ĉi tiu mondo; ĉar se ili ĝin scius, ili ne krucumus la Sinjoron de gloro; 9sed kiel estas skribite: Tion, kion okulo ne vidis kaj orelo ne aŭdis, Kaj kio en la koron de homo ne eniris, Dio preparis por tiuj, kiuj Lin amas. 10Sed al ni Dio malkaŝis ilin per la Spirito; ĉar la Spirito esploras ĉion, eĉ la profundaĵojn de Dio. 11Ĉar kiu inter homoj scias la aferojn de iu homo, krom la spirito de la homo, kiu estas en li? tiel same la aferojn de Dio scias neniu, krom la Spirito de Dio. 12Sed ni ricevis ne la spiriton de la mondo, sed la spiriton, kiu estas de Dio; por ke ni sciu tion, al ni donacitan de Dio. 13Pri kio ankaŭ ni parolas per vortoj, ne kiujn instruas homa saĝeco, sed kiujn instruas la Spirito; komparante spiritajn kun spiritaj. 14Sed la natura homo ne akceptas la aferojn de la Spirito de Dio; ĉar ili estas por li malsaĝeco; kaj li ne povas ilin scii, pro tio, ke ili estas juĝataj spirite. 15Sed la spirita homo juĝas ĉion, kaj li mem estas juĝata de neniu. 16Ĉar kiu sciis la menson de la Eternulo, ke li instruu Lin? Sed ni havas la menson de Kristo.
1When I came to you, brothers, I didn’t come with excellence of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God. 2For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown; yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nothing. 7But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory, 8which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory. 9But as it is written, “Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.” 10But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except God’s Spirit. 12But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. 13Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things. 14Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one. 16“For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?” But we have Christ’s mind.
1En ik, broeders, als ik tot u ben gekomen, ben niet gekomen met uitnemendheid van woorden, of van wijsheid, u verkondigende de getuigenis van God. 2Want ik heb niet voorgenomen iets te weten onder u, dan Jezus Christus, en Dien gekruisigd. 3En ik was bij ulieden in zwakheid, en in vreze, en in vele beving. 4En mijn rede, en mijn prediking was niet in bewegelijke woorden der menselijke wijsheid, maar in betoning des geestes en der kracht; 5Opdat uw geloof niet zou zijn in wijsheid der mensen, maar in de kracht Gods. 6En wij spreken wijsheid onder de volmaakten; doch een wijsheid, niet dezer wereld, noch der oversten dezer wereld, die te niet worden; 7Maar wij spreken de wijsheid Gods, bestaande in verborgenheid, die bedekt was, welke God te voren verordineerd heeft tot heerlijkheid van ons, eer de wereld was; 8Welke niemand van de oversten dezer wereld gekend heeft; want indien zij ze gekend hadden, zo zouden zij den Heere der heerlijkheid niet gekruist hebben. 9Maar gelijk geschreven is: Hetgeen het oog niet heeft gezien, en het oor niet heeft gehoord, en in het hart des mensen niet is opgeklommen, hetgeen God bereid heeft dien, die Hem liefhebben. 10Doch God heeft het ons geopenbaard door Zijn Geest; want de Geest onderzoekt alle dingen, ook de diepten Gods. 11Want wie van de mensen weet, hetgeen des mensen is, dan de geest des mensen, die in hem is? Alzo weet ook niemand, hetgeen Gods is, dan de Geest Gods. 12Doch wij hebben niet ontvangen den geest der wereld, maar den Geest, Die uit God is, opdat wij zouden weten de dingen, die ons van God geschonken zijn; 13Dewelke wij ook spreken, niet met woorden, die de menselijke wijsheid leert, maar met woorden, die de Heilige Geest leert, geestelijke dingen met geestelijke samenvoegende. 14Maar de natuurlijke mens begrijpt niet de dingen, die des Geestes Gods zijn; want zij zijn hem dwaasheid, en hij kan ze niet verstaan, omdat zij geestelijk onderscheiden worden. 15Doch de geestelijke mens onderscheidt wel alle dingen, maar hij zelf wordt van niemand onderscheiden. 16Want wie heeft den zin des Heeren gekend, die Hem zou onderrichten? Maar wij hebben den zin van Christus.
