미가 1

1유다 열왕 요담과 아하스와 히스기야 시대에 모레셋 사람 미가에게 임한 여호와의 말씀 곧 사마리아와 예루살렘에 관한 묵시라 2백성들아 너희는 다 들을지어다 땅과 거기 있는 모든 것들아 자세히 들을지어다 주 여호와께서 너희에게 대하여 증거하시되 곧 주께서 성전에서 그리하실 것이니라 3여호와께서 그 처소에서 나오시고 강림하사 땅의 높은 곳을 밟으실 것이라 4그 아래서 산들이 녹고 골짜기들이 갈라지기를 불 앞의 밀 같고 비탈로 쏟아지는 물 같을 것이니 5이는 다 야곱의 허물을 인함이요 이스라엘 족속의 죄를 인함이라 야곱의 허물이 무엇이뇨 사마리아가 아니뇨 유다의 산당이 무엇이뇨 예루살렘이 아니뇨 6이러므로 내가 사마리아로 들의 무더기 같게 하고 포도 심을 동산 같게 하며 또 그 돌들을 골짜기에 쏟아 내리고 그 지대를 드러내며 7그 새긴 우상을 다 파쇄하고 그 음행의 값을 다 불사르며 그 목상을 다 훼파하리니 그가 기생의 값으로 모았은즉 그것이 기생의 값으로 돌아가리라 8이러므로 내가 애통하며 애곡하고 벌거벗은 몸으로 행하며 들개 같이 애곡하고 타조 같이 애통하리니 9이는 그 상처는 고칠 수 없고 그것이 유다까지도 이르고 내 백성의 성문 곧 예루살렘에도 미쳤음이니라 10가드에 고하지 말며 도무지 호곡하지 말지어다 베들레아브라에서 티끌에 굴지어다 11사빌 거민아 너는 벗은 몸에 수치를 무릅쓰고 나갈지어다 사아난 거민은 나오지 못하고 벧에셀이 애곡하여 너희로 의지할 곳이 없게 하리라 12마롯 거민이 근심 중에 복을 바라니 이는 재앙이 여호와께로 말미암아 예루살렘 성문에 임함이니라 13라기스 거민아 너는 준마에 병거를 메울지어다 라기스는 딸 시온의 죄의 근본이니 이는 이스라엘의 허물이 네게서 보였음이니라 14이러므로 너는 가드 모레셋에 작별하는 예물을 줄지어다 악십의 집들이 이스라엘 열왕을 속이리라 15마레사 거민아 내가 장차 너를 얻을 자로 네게 임하게 하리니 이스라엘의 영광이 아둘람까지 이를 것이라 16너는 네 기뻐하는 자식으로 인하여 네 머리털을 깎아 대머리 같게 할지어다 네 머리로 크게 무여지게 하기를 독수리 같게 할지어다 이는 그들이 사로잡혀 너를 떠났음이니라

1Yahweh’s word that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. 2Hear, you peoples, all of you. Listen, O earth, and all that is therein: and let the Lord Yahweh be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 3For, behold, Yahweh comes out of his place, and will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. 4The mountains melt under him, and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like waters that are poured down a steep place. 5“All this is for the disobedience of Jacob, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the disobedience of Jacob? Isn’t it Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Aren’t they Jerusalem? 6Therefore I will make Samaria like a rubble heap of the field, like places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down its stones into the valley, and I will uncover its foundations. 7All her idols will be beaten to pieces, and all her temple gifts will be burned with fire, and all her images I will destroy; for of the hire of a prostitute has she gathered them, and to the hire of a prostitute shall they return.” 8For this I will lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will howl like the jackals, and moan like the daughters of owls. 9For her wounds are incurable; for it has come even to Judah. It reaches to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. 10Don’t tell it in Gath. Don’t weep at all. At Beth Ophrah I have rolled myself in the dust. 11Pass on, inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan won’t come out. The wailing of Beth Ezel will take from you his protection. 12For the inhabitant of Maroth waits anxiously for good, because evil has come down from Yahweh to the gate of Jerusalem. 13Harness the chariot to the swift steed, inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; For the transgressions of Israel were found in you. 14Therefore you will give a parting gift to Moresheth Gath. The houses of Achzib will be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel. 15I will yet bring to you, inhabitant of Mareshah. He who is the glory of Israel will come to Adullam. 16Shave your heads, and cut off your hair for the children of your delight. Enlarge your baldness like the vulture; for they have gone into captivity from you!

1Het woord des HEEREN, dat geschied is tot Micha, den Morastiet, in de dagen van Jotham, Achaz en Jehizkia, koningen van Juda; dat hij gezien heeft over Samaria en Jeruzalem. 2Hoort, gij volken altemaal! merk op, gij aarde, mitsgaders derzelver volheid! de Heere HEERE nu zal tot een getuige zijn tegen ulieden, de Heere uit den tempel Zijner heiligheid. 3Want ziet, de HEERE gaat uit van Zijn plaats, en Hij zal nederdalen en treden op de hoogten der aarde. 4En de bergen zullen onder Hem versmelten, en de dalen gekloofd worden, gelijk was voor het vuur, gelijk wateren, die uitgestort worden in de laagte. 5Dit alles, om de overtreding van Jakob, en om de zonden van het huis Israels; wie is het begin van de overtreding van Jakob? Is het niet Samaria? En wie van de hoogten van Juda? Is het niet Jeruzalem? 6Daarom zal Ik Samaria stellen tot een steenhoop des velds, tot plantingen eens wijngaards; en Ik zal haar stenen in de vallei storten, en haar fundamenten ontdekken. 7En al haar gesneden beelden zullen vermorzeld worden, en al haar hoerenbeloningen zullen met vuur verbrand worden, en al haar afgoden zal Ik stellen tot een woestheid; want zij heeft ze van hoerenloon vergaderd, en zij zullen tot hoerenloon wederkeren. 8Hierom zal ik misbaar bedrijven en huilen; ik zal beroofd en naakt gaan; ik zal misbaar maken als de draken, en treuren als de jonge struisen. 9Want haar plagen zijn dodelijk; want zij zijn gekomen tot aan Juda; hij is geraakt tot aan de poort mijns volks, tot aan Jeruzalem. 10Verkondigt het niet te Gath, weent zo jammerlijk niet; wentelt u in het stof in het huis van Afra. 11Ga door, gij inwoneres van Safir! met blote schaamte; de inwoneres van Zaanan gaat niet uit; rouwklage is te Beth-haezel; hij zal zijn stand van ulieden nemen. 12Want de inwoneres van Maroth is krank om des goeds wil; want een kwaad is van den HEERE afgedaald, tot aan de poort van Jeruzalem. 13Span de snelle dieren aan den wagen, gij inwoners van Lachis! (deze is der dochter Sions het beginsel der zonde) want in u zijn Israels overtredingen gevonden. 14Daarom geef geschenken aan Morescheth-Gaths; de huizen van Achzib zullen den koningen van Israel tot een leugen zijn. 15Ik zal u nog een erfgenaam toebrengen, gij inwoneres van Maresa! Hij zal komen tot aan Adullam, tot aan de heerlijkheid Israels. 16Maak u kaal en scheer u, om uw troetelkinderen; verwijd uw kaalheid, als de arend, omdat zij gevankelijk van u zijn weggevoerd.
