요한복음 17

1예수께서 이 말씀을 하시고 눈을 들어 하늘을 우러러 가라사대 아버지여 때가 이르렀사오니 아들을 영화롭게 하사 아들로 아버지를 영화롭게 하게 하옵소서 2아버지께서 아들에게 주신 모든 자에게 영생을 주게 하시려고 만민을 다스리는 권세를 아들에게 주셨음이로소이다 3영생은 곧 유일하신 참 하나님과 그의 보내신 자 예수 그리스도를 아는 것이니이다 4아버지께서 내게 하라고 주신 일을 내가 이루어 아버지를 이 세상에서 영화롭게 하였사오니 5아버지여 창세 전에 내가 아버지와 함께 가졌던 영화로써 지금도 아버지와 함께 나를 영화롭게 하옵소서 6세상 중에서 내게 주신 사람들에게 내가 아버지의 이름을 나타내었나이다 저희는 아버지의 것이었는데 내게 주셨으며 저희는 아버지의 말씀을 지키었나이다 7지금 저희는 아버지께서 내게 주신 것이 다 아버지께로서 온 것인 줄 알았나이다 8나는 아버지께서 내게 주신 말씀들을 저희에게 주었사오며 저희는 이것을 받고 내가 아버지께로부터 나온 줄을 참으로 아오며 아버지께서 나를 보내신 줄도 믿었사옵나이다 9내가 저희를 위하여 비옵나니 내가 비옵는 것은 세상을 위함이 아니요 내게 주신 자들을 위함이니이다 저희는 아버지의 것이로소이다 10내 것은 다 아버지의 것이요 아버지의 것은 내 것이온데 내가 저희로 말미암아 영광을 받았나이다 11나는 세상에 더 있지 아니하오나 저희는 세상에 있사옵고 나는 아버지께로 가옵나니 거룩하신 아버지여 내게 주신 아버지의 이름으로 저희를 보전하사 우리와 같이 저희도 하나가 되게 하옵소서 12내가 저희와 함께 있을 때에 내게 주신 아버지의 이름으로 저희를 보전하와 지키었나이다 그 중에 하나도 멸망치 않고 오직 멸망의 자식뿐이오니 이는 성경을 응하게 함이니이다 13지금 내가 아버지께로 가오니 내가 세상에서 이 말을 하옵는 것은 저희로 내 기쁨을 저희 안에 충만히 가지게 하려 함이니이다 14내가 아버지의 말씀을 저희에게 주었사오매 세상이 저희를 미워하였사오니 이는 내가 세상에 속하지 아니함 같이 저희도 세상에 속하지 아니함을 인함이니이다 15내가 비옵는 것은 저희를 세상에서 데려가시기를 위함이 아니요 오직 악에 빠지지 않게 보전하시기를 위함이니이다 16내가 세상에 속하지 아니함 같이 저희도 세상에 속하지 아니하였삽나이다 17저희를 진리로 거룩하게 하옵소서 아버지의 말씀은 진리니이다 18아버지께서 나를 세상에 보내신 것 같이 나도 저희를 세상에 보내었고 19또 저희를 위하여 내가 나를 거룩하게 하오니 이는 저희도 진리로 거룩함을 얻게 하려 함이니이다 20내가 비옵는 것은 이 사람들만 위함이 아니요 또 저희 말을 인하여 나를 믿는 사람들도 위함이니 21아버지께서 내 안에, 내가 아버지 안에 있는 것 같이 저희도 다 하나가 되어 우리 안에 있게 하사 세상으로 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것을 믿게 하옵소서 22내게 주신 영광을 내가 저희에게 주었사오니 이는 우리가 하나가 된 것 같이 저희도 하나가 되게 하려 함이니이다 23곧 내가 저희 안에, 아버지께서 내 안에 계셔 저희로 온전함을 이루어 하나가 되게 하려 함은 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것과 또 나를 사랑하심 같이 저희도 사랑하신 것을 세상으로 알게 하려 함이로소이다 24아버지여 내게 주신 자도 나 있는 곳에 나와 함께 있어 아버지께서 창세 전부터 나를 사랑하시므로 내게 주신 나의 영광을 저희로 보게 하시기를 원하옵나이다 25의로우신 아버지여 세상이 아버지를 알지 못하여도 나는 아버지를 알았삽고 저희도 아버지께서 나를 보내신 줄 알았삽나이다 26내가 아버지의 이름을 저희에게 알게 하였고 또 알게 하리니 이는 나를 사랑하신 사랑이 저희 안에 있고 나도 저희 안에 있게 하려 함이니이다

1Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; 2even as you gave him authority over all flesh, he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him. 3This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. 4I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do. 5Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed. 6I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word. 7Now they have known that all things whatever you have given me are from you, 8for the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you, and they have believed that you sent me. 9I pray for them. I don’t pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. 10All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. 11I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are. 12While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. Those whom you have given me I have kept. None of them is lost, except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves. 14I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth. 18As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world. 19For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. 20Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word, 21that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me. 22The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; 23I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. 24Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25Righteous Father, the world hasn’t known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me. 26I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

1Dit heeft Jezus gesproken, en Hij hief Zijn ogen op naar den hemel, en zeide: Vader, de ure is gekomen, verheerlijk Uw Zoon, opdat ook Uw Zoon U verheerlijke. 2Gelijkerwijs Gij Hem macht gegeven hebt over alle vlees, opdat al wat Gij Hem gegeven hebt, Hij hun het eeuwige leven geve. 3En dit is het eeuwige leven, dat zij U kennen, den enigen waarachtigen God, en Jezus Christus, Dien Gij gezonden hebt. 4Ik heb U verheerlijkt op de aarde; Ik heb voleindigd het werk, dat Gij Mij gegeven hebt om te doen; 5En nu verheerlijk Mij, Gij Vader, bij Uzelven, met de heerlijkheid, die Ik bij U had, eer de wereld was. 6Ik heb Uw Naam geopenbaard den mensen, die Gij Mij uit de wereld gegeven hebt. Zij waren Uw, en Gij hebt Mij dezelve gegeven; en zij hebben Uw woord bewaard. 7Nu hebben zij bekend, dat alles, wat Gij Mij gegeven hebt, van U is. 8Want de woorden, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt, heb Ik hun gegeven, en zij hebben ze ontvangen, en zij hebben waarlijk bekend, dat Ik van U uitgegaan ben, en hebben geloofd, dat Gij Mij gezonden hebt. 9Ik bid voor hen; Ik bid niet voor de wereld, maar voor degenen, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt, want zij zijn Uw. 10En al het Mijne is Uw, en het Uwe is Mijn; en Ik ben in hen verheerlijkt. 11En Ik ben niet meer in de wereld, maar deze zijn in de wereld, en Ik kome tot U, Heilige Vader, bewaar ze in Uw Naam, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt, opdat zij een zijn, gelijk als Wij. 12Toen Ik met hen in de wereld was, bewaarde Ik ze in Uw Naam. Die Gij Mij gegeven hebt, heb Ik bewaard, en niemand uit hen is verloren gegaan, dan de zoon der verderfenis, opdat de Schrift vervuld worde. 13Maar nu kom Ik tot U, en spreek dit in de wereld, opdat zij Mijn blijdschap vervuld mogen hebben in zichzelven. 14Ik heb hun Uw woord gegeven; en de wereld heeft ze gehaat, omdat zij van de wereld niet zijn, gelijk als Ik van de wereld niet ben. 15Ik bid niet, dat Gij hen uit de wereld wegneemt, maar dat Gij hen bewaart van den boze. 16Zij zijn niet van de wereld, gelijkerwijs Ik van de wereld niet ben. 17Heilig ze in Uw waarheid; Uw woord is de waarheid. 18Gelijkerwijs Gij Mij gezonden hebt in de wereld, alzo heb Ik hen ook in de wereld gezonden. 19En Ik heilige Mijzelven voor hen, opdat ook zij geheiligd mogen zijn in waarheid. 20En Ik bid niet alleen voor dezen, maar ook voor degenen, die door hun woord in Mij geloven zullen. 21Opdat zij allen een zijn, gelijkerwijs Gij, Vader, in Mij, en Ik in U, dat ook zij in Ons een zijn; opdat de wereld gelove, dat Gij Mij gezonden hebt. 22En Ik heb hun de heerlijkheid gegeven, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt; opdat zij een zijn, gelijk als Wij Een zijn; 23Ik in hen, en Gij in Mij; opdat zij volmaakt zijn in een, en opdat de wereld bekenne, dat Gij Mij gezonden hebt, en hen liefgehad hebt, gelijk Gij Mij liefgehad hebt. 24Vader, Ik wil, dat waar Ik ben, ook die bij Mij zijn, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt; opdat zij Mijn heerlijkheid mogen aanschouwen, die Gij Mij gegeven hebt; want Gij hebt Mij liefgehad, voor de grondlegging der wereld. 25Rechtvaardige Vader, de wereld heeft U niet gekend; maar Ik heb U gekend, en dezen hebben bekend, dat Gij Mij gezonden hebt. 26En Ik heb hun Uw Naam bekend gemaakt, en zal Hem bekend maken; opdat de liefde, waarmede Gij Mij liefgehad hebt, in hen zij, en Ik in hen.
