1Huszonötödik esztendejében fogságunknak, az esztendőnek kezdetén, a hónap tizedikén, a tizennegyedik esztendőben az után, hogy a város megveretett, épen ezen a napon lőn az Úr keze én rajtam, és elvitt engemet oda. 2Isteni látásokban vitt engem Izráel földjére, és letőn engem egy igen magas hegyre, s azon vala mint egy város épülete dél felől. 3És oda vitt engem, és ímé egy férfiú vala ott, tekintete mint az ércznek tekintete, és len-zsinór vala kezében és mérőpálcza; és a kapuban áll vala. 4És szóla nékem az a férfiú: Embernek fia! láss szemeiddel és füleiddel hallj, és figyelmetes légy mindarra, a mit mutatok néked; mert hogy ezeket megmutassam néked, azért hozattál ide: hirdesd mindazokat, a miket látsz, Izráel házának. 5És ímé, kőfal vala a házon kivül köröskörül; és a férfiú kezében a mérőpálcza vala hat singnyi (a közsingben s egy tenyérben); és méré az épület szélességét egy pálczányira s magasságát egy pálczányira. 6És méne egy kapuhoz, mely napkeletre néz vala, és felméne grádicsain, és méré a kapu küszöbét egy pálczányi szélességre, a másik küszöböt is egy pálczányi szélességre; 7És az őrkamarát egy pálczányi hosszúságra és egy pálczányi szélességre, és az őrkamarák közét öt singnyire, és a kapu küszöbét, a kapu tornácza mellett belől, egy pálczányira. 8És méré a kapu tornáczát belől egy pálczányira. 9És méré a kapu tornáczát nyolcz singnyire, és gyámoszlopait két singnyire; vala pedig a kapu tornácza belől. 10És a napkeleti kapunak mind egyfelől, mind másfelől három-három őrkamarája vala, egy mértéke mind a háromnak, és egy mértékök a gyámoszlopoknak is mind egyfelől, mind másfelől. 11És méré a kapu nyílásának szélességét tíz singre, és a kapu hosszúságát tizenhárom singre; 12És az őrkamarák előtt való korlátot egy singnyire, és egy singnyire vala e korlát másfelől is; mindenik őrkamara pedig hat singnyi vala egyfelől és hat singnyi másfelől. 13És méré a kaput az egyik őrkamara tetejétől a másik tetejéig; huszonöt singnyi szélességre ott, hol ajtó ajtóval vala szemben. 14És tevé a gyámoszlopokat hatvan singre, és a gyámoszlopokhoz nyúlik vala a pitvar a kapunál körös-körül. 15És a bejárat kapujának elejétől a belső kapu tornáczának elejéig vala ötven sing. 16És az őrkamarákon szoros ablakok valának, és gyámoszlopaikon is belül a kapuban köröskörül, hasonlóképen a tornáczokon; és valának ablakok köröskörül belől, és a gyámoszlopokon pálmafaragások. 17És vitt engem a külső pitvarba, és ímé, ott kamarák és kőből rakott pádimentom vala készítve a pitvaron köröskörül; harmincz kamara vala a kőből rakott pádimentomon. 18És a kőből rakott pádimentom a kapuk mellett vala a kapuk hosszúsága szerint: az alsó kőből rakott pádimentom vala ez. 19És méré a szélességet az alsó kapu elejétől fogva a belső pitvar külső elejéig száz singnyire, a keleti és északi oldalon. 20És a kapunak is, mely néz vala északra, a külső pitvaron, megméré hosszúságát és szélességét; 21És őrkamarái valának: három egyfelől és három másfelől, és gyámoszlopai és tornácza egy mértékben valának az első kapuval: ötven sing a hosszúsága, és szélessége huszonöt sing. 22És ablakai és tornácza és pálmafaragásai annak a kapunak mértéke szerint valának, mely néz napkeletre, és hét grádicson mennek vala fel hozzá; és tornáczai, e grádicsok előtt valának. 23És a belső pitvarnak kapuja vala az északi és napkeleti kapu ellenében, és mére kaputól kapuig száz singet. 24És vitt engem a déli útra, és ímé, egy kapu vala ott dél felé, és megméré gyámoszlopait és tornáczát ugyanama mérték szerint. 25És ablakai valának és tornáczának is köröskörül, olyanok mint amaz ablakok; hosszúsága ötven sing, és szélessége huszonöt sing. 26És hét grádicsa vala feljáratának, és tornácza azok előtt vala; és pálmafaragásai valának egyik egyfelől, a másik másfelől gyámoszlopain. 27És kapuja vala a belső pitvarnak dél felé, és mére kaputól kapuig dél felé száz singet. 28És bevitt engemet a déli kapun át a belső pitvarba, és megméré a déli kaput ugyanama mértékek szerint; 29És őrkamaráit és gyámoszlopait és tornáczát ugyanama mértékek szerint, és ablakai valának és tornáczának is köröskörül, hosszúsága ötven sing, és szélessége huszonöt sing. 30És tornáczok valának köröskörül, hosszúságuk huszonöt sing, és szélességök öt sing. 31És tornácza a külső pitvar felé vala, és pálmafaragások valának gyámoszlopain, és nyolcz grádicsa vala feljáratának. 32Vitt továbbá engem a belső pitvarba kelet felé, és megméré a kaput ugyanama mértékek szerint; 33És őrkamaráit és gyámoszlopait és tornáczát ugyanama mértékek szerint, és ablakai valának és tornáczának is köröskörül, hosszúsága ötven sing, és szélessége huszonöt sing. 34És tornácza vala a külső pitvar felé, és gyámoszlopain pálmafaragások valának mind egy-, mind másfelől, és nyolcz grádicsa vala feljáratának. 35És vitt engem az északi kapuhoz, és megméré ugyanama mértékek szerint; 36Őrkamaráit, gyámoszlopait és tornáczát, és ablakai valának köröskörül, hosszúsága ötven sing, és szélessége huszonöt sing. 37És tornácza a külső pitvar felé vala, és pálmafaragások valának gyámoszlopain mind egyfelől, mind másfelől, és nyolcz grádicsa vala feljáratának. 38És egy kamara vala, és annak ajtaja a kapuk gyámoszlopainál; ott mossák vala meg az egészen égőáldozatot. 39És a kapu tornáczában két asztal vala egyfelől, és másfelől is két asztal vala, hogy azokon öljék meg az egészen égőáldozatot és a bűnért való áldozatot és a vétekért való áldozatot. 40És oldalt kivül, északra onnét, hol felmennek a kapu ajtajához, két asztal vala, és a kapu tornáczának másik oldalán is két asztal. 41Négy asztal egyfelől, és másfelől is négy asztal a kapu oldalán; nyolcz asztal, ezeken ölik vala az áldozatot. 42És négy asztal vala az égőáldozatra faragott kőből, másfél sing hosszú és másfél sing széles és egy sing magas; ezekre teszik a szerszámokat, melyekkel az égőáldozatot és egyéb áldozatot ölnek. 43És a szegek valának egy tenyérnyiek, oda erősítve belől köröskörül, s az asztalokra jöve az áldozat húsa. 44A belső kapun kivül pedig vala két kamara az énekesek számára a belső pitvarban, egyik oldalt az északi kaputól, melynek eleje dél felé vala, s a másik oldalt a déli kaputól, melynek eleje észak felé vala. 45És szóla nékem: Ez a kamara, mely délre néz, a papoké, kik a házhoz való szolgálatban foglalatosak: 46Az a kamara pedig, mely északra néz, azoké a papoké, kik az oltárhoz való szolgálatban foglalatosak, ezek a Sádók fiai, kik az Úrhoz járulnak a Lévi fiai közül, hogy szolgáljanak néki. 47És megméré a pitvart; hosszúsága száz sing és szélessége is száz sing, négyszögre; és az oltár vala a ház előtt. 48És vitt engem a ház tornáczába, és a tornácz gyámoszlopát megméré egyfelől is öt singre, másfelől is öt singre; a kapu szélességét pedig három singre egyfelől s másfelől is három singre. 49A tornácz hosszúsága húsz sing vala és a szélessége tizenegy sing, és tíz grádicson mennek vala föl hozzá; és oszlopok valának a gyámoszlopoknál, egyik egyfelől, másik másfelől.

1In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was struck, in the same day, the hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me there. 2In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, whereon was as it were the frame of a city on the south. 3He brought me there; and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. 4The man said to me, Son of man, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I shall show you; for, to the intent that I may show them to you, you are brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel. 5Behold, a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed six cubits long, of a cubit and a hand breadth each: so he measured the thickness of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. 6Then came he to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its steps: and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad; and the other threshold, one reed broad. 7Every lodge was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the lodges was five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate toward the house was one reed. 8He measured also the porch of the gate toward the house, one reed. 9Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and its posts, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was toward the house. 10The lodges of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side. 11He measured the breadth of the opening of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits; 12and a border before the lodges, one cubit on this side, and a border, one cubit on that side; and the lodges, six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side. 13He measured the gate from the roof of the one lodge to the roof of the other, a breadth of twenty-five cubits; door against door. 14He made also posts, sixty cubits; and the court reached to the posts, around the gate. 15From the forefront of the gate at the entrance to the forefront of the inner porch of the gate were fifty cubits. 16There were closed windows to the lodges, and to their posts within the gate all around, and likewise to the arches; and windows were around inward; and on each post were palm trees. 17Then brought he me into the outer court; and behold, there were rooms and a pavement, made for the court all around: thirty rooms were on the pavement. 18The pavement was by the side of the gates, answerable to the length of the gates, even the lower pavement. 19Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, one hundred cubits, both on the east and on the north. 20The gate of the outer court whose prospect is toward the north, he measured its length and its breadth. 21The lodges of it were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its arches were after the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. 22The windows of it, and its arches, and the palm trees of it, were after the measure of the gate whose prospect is toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and its arches were before them. 23There was a gate to the inner court facing the other gate, on the north and on the east; and he measured from gate to gate one hundred cubits. 24He led me toward the south; and behold, a gate toward the south: and he measured its posts and its arches according to these measures. 25There were windows in it and in its arches all around, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. 26There were seven steps to go up to it, and its arches were before them; and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, on its posts. 27There was a gate to the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south a hundred cubits. 28Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: and he measured the south gate according to these measures; 29and its lodges, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in its arches all around; it was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad. 30There were arches all around, twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad. 31The arches of it were toward the outer court; and palm trees were on its posts: and the ascent to it had eight steps. 32He brought me into the inner court toward the east: and he measured the gate according to these measures; 33and its lodges, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: and there were windows therein and in its arches all around; it was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad. 34The arches of it were toward the outer court; and palm trees were on its posts, on this side, and on that side: and the ascent to it had eight steps. 35He brought me to the north gate: and he measured it according to these measures; 36its lodges, its posts, and its arches: and there were windows therein all around; the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. 37The posts of it were toward the outer court; and palm trees were on its posts, on this side, and on that side: and the ascent to it had eight steps. 38A room with its door was by the posts at the gates; there they washed the burnt offering. 39In the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, on which to kill the burnt offering, the sin offering, and the trespass offering. 40On the one side outside, as one goes up to the entry of the gate toward the north, were two tables; and on the other side, which belonged to the porch of the gate, were two tables. 41Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they killed the sacrifices. 42There were four tables for the burnt offering, of cut stone, a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high; whereupon they laid the instruments with which they killed the burnt offering and the sacrifice. 43The hooks, a hand breadth long, were fastened within all around: and on the tables was the flesh of the offering. 44Outside of the inner gate were rooms for the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south; one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north. 45He said to me, This room, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the duty of the house; 46and the room whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the duty of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok, who from among the sons of Levi come near to Yahweh to minister to him. 47He measured the court, one hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits broad, square; and the altar was before the house. 48Then he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side. 49The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; even by the steps by which they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

en aan denzelven was als een gebouw ener stad tegen het zuiden. 3Als Hij mij daarhenen gebracht had, ziet, zo was er een man, wiens gedaante was als de gedaante van koper; en in zijn hand was een linnen snoer, en een meetriet; en hij stond in de poort. 4En die man sprak tot mij: Mensenkind! zie met uw ogen, en hoor met uw oren, en zet uw hart op alles, wat ik u zal doen zien; want, opdat ik u zou doen zien, zijt gij herwaarts gebracht; verkondig daarna den huize Israels alles, wat gij ziet. 5En ziet, er was een muur buiten aan het huis, rondom henen, en in des mans hand was een meetriet van zes ellen, elke el van een el en een handbreed, en hij mat de breedte des gebouws een riet, en de hoogte een riet. 6Toen kwam hij tot de poort, welke zag den weg naar het oosten, en hij ging bij derzelver trappen op, en mat den dorpel der poort een riet de breedte, en den anderen dorpel een riet de breedte. 7En elk kamertje een riet de lengte, en een riet de breedte; en tussen de kamertjes vijf ellen; en den dorpel der poort, bij het voorhuis der poort van binnen, een riet. 8Ook mat hij het voorhuis der poort van binnen, een riet. 9Toen mat hij het andere voorhuis der poort, acht ellen, en haar posten twee ellen; en het voorhuis der poort was van binnen. 10En de kamertjes der poort, den weg naar het oosten, waren drie van deze, en drie van gene zijde; die drie hadden enerlei maat; ook hadden de posten, van deze en van gene zijde, enerlei maat. 11Voorts mat hij de wijdte der deur van de poort, tien ellen; de lengte der poort, dertien ellen. 12En er was een ruim voor aan de kamertjes, van een el van deze, en een ruim van een el van gene zijde; en elk kamertje zes ellen van deze, en zes ellen van gene zijde. 13Toen mat hij de poort van het dak van het ene kamertje af tot aan het dak van een ander; de breedte was vijf en twintig ellen; deur was tegenover deur. 14Ook maakte hij posten van zestig ellen, namelijk tot den post des voorhofs, rondom de poort henen. 15En van het voorste deel der poort des ingangs, tot aan het voorste deel van het voorhuis van de binnenpoort, waren vijftig ellen. 16En er waren gesloten vensters aan de kamertjes, en aan hun posten inwaarts in de poort rondom henen; alzo ook aan de voorhuizen; de vensters nu waren rondom henen inwaarts, en aan de posten waren palmbomen. 17Voorts bracht hij mij in het buitenste voorhof, en ziet, er waren kameren, en een plaveisel, dat gemaakt was in het voorhof rondom henen, dertig kameren waren er op het plaveisel. 18Het plaveisel nu was aan de zijde van de poorten, tegenover de lengte van de poorten; dit was het benedenste plaveisel. 19En hij mat de breedte, van het voorste deel der benedenste poort af, voor aan het binnenste voorhof, van buiten, honderd ellen, oostwaarts en noordwaarts. 20Aangaande de poort nu, die den weg naar het noorden zag, aan het buitenste voorhof, hij mat derzelver lengte en derzelver breedte. 21En haar kamertjes, drie van deze en drie van gene zijde; en haar posten en haar voorhuizen waren naar de maat der eerste poort; vijftig ellen haar lengte, en de breedte van vijf en twintig ellen. 22En haar vensters, en haar voorhuizen, en haar palmbomen, waren naar de maat der poort, die den weg naar het oosten zag; en men ging daarin op met zeven trappen, en haar voorhuizen waren voor aan dezelve. 23De poort nu van het binnenste voorhof was tegenover de poort van het noorden en van het oosten; en hij mat van poort tot poort honderd ellen. 24Daarna voerde hij mij den weg naar het zuiden; en ziet, er was een poort den weg naar het zuiden; en hij mat derzelver posten, en derzelver voorhuizen, naar deze maten. 25En zij had vensteren, ook aan haar voorhuizen, rondom henen, gelijk deze vensteren; de lengte was vijftig ellen, en de breedte vijf en twintig ellen. 26En haar opgangen waren van zeven trappen, en haar voorhuizen waren voor aan dezelve; en zij had palmbomen, een van deze, en een van gene zijde aan haar posten. 27Ook was er een poort in het binnenste voorhof, den weg naar het zuiden; en hij mat van poort tot poort, den weg naar het zuiden, honderd ellen. 28Voorts bracht hij mij door de zuiderpoort tot het binnenvoorhof; en hij mat de zuiderpoort naar deze maten. 29En haar kamertjes, en haar posten, en haar voorhuizen waren naar deze maten; en zij had vensteren, ook in haar voorhuizen, rondom henen; de lengte was vijftig ellen, en de breedte vijf en twintig ellen. 30En er waren voorhuizen rondom henen; de lengte was vijf en twintig ellen, en de breedte vijf ellen. 31En haar voorhuizen waren aan het buitenste voorhof, ook waren er palmbomen aan haar posten, en haar opgangen waren van acht trappen. 32Daarna bracht hij mij tot het binnenste voorhof, den weg naar het oosten; en hij mat de poort, naar deze maten; 33Ook haar kamertjes, en haar posten, en haar voorhuizen naar deze maten; en zij had vensteren ook aan haar voorhuizen, rondom henen; de lengte was vijftig ellen, en de breedte vijf en twintig ellen. 34En haar voorhuizen waren aan het buitenste voorhof; ook waren er palmbomen aan haar posten, van deze en van gene zijde; en haar opgangen waren van acht trappen. 35Daarna bracht hij mij tot de noorderpoort; en hij mat naar deze maten. 36Haar kamertjes, haar posten en haar voorhuizen; ook had zij vensteren rondom henen; de lengte was vijftig ellen, en de breedte vijf en twintig ellen. 37En haar posten waren aan het buitenste voorhof; ook waren er palmbomen aan haar posten, van deze en van gene zijde; en haar opgangen waren van acht trappen. 38Haar kameren nu en haar deuren waren bij de posten der poorten; aldaar wies men het brandoffer. 39En in het voorhuis der poort waren twee tafelen van deze, en twee tafelen van gene zijde, om daarop te slachten het brandoffer, en het zondoffer, en het schuldoffer. 40Ook waren er aan de zijde van buiten des opgangs, aan de deur der noorderpoort, twee tafelen; en aan de andere zijde, die aan het voorhuis der poort was, twee tafelen. 41Vier tafelen van deze, en vier tafelen van gene zijde, aan de zijde der poort, acht tafelen, waarop men slachtte. 42Maar de vier tafelen voor het brandoffer waren van gehouwen stenen, de lengte een el en een halve, en de breedte een el en een halve, en de hoogte een el; op dezelve nu legde men het gereedschap henen, waarmede men het brandoffer en slachtoffer slachtte. 43De haardstenen nu waren een handbreed dik, ordentelijk geschikt in het huis rondom henen; en op de tafelen was het offervlees. 44En van buiten de binnenste poort waren de kameren der zangers, in het binnenste voorhof, dat aan de zijde van de noorderpoort was; en het voorste deel derzelve was den weg naar het zuiden; een was er aan de zijde van de oostpoort, ziende den weg naar het noorden. 45En hij sprak tot mij: Deze kamer, welker voorste deel den weg naar het zuiden is, is voor de priesteren, die de wacht des huizes waarnemen. 46Maar de kamer, welker voorste deel den weg naar het noorden is, is voor de priesteren, die de wacht des altaars waarnemen; dat zijn de kinderen van Zadok, die uit de kinderen van Levi tot den HEERE naderen, om Hem te dienen. 47En hij mat het voorhof: de lengte honderd ellen, en de breedte honderd ellen, vierkant; en het altaar was voor aan het huis. 48Toen bracht hij mij tot het voorhuis des huizes, en hij mat elken post van het voorhuis, vijf ellen van deze, en vijf ellen van gene zijde; en de breedte der poort, drie ellen van deze, en drie ellen van gene zijde. 49De lengte van het voorhuis twintig ellen, en de breedte elf ellen; en het was met trappen, bij dewelke men daarin opging; ook waren er pilaren aan de posten, een van deze, en een van gene zijde.
