1Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν μετά τον θάνατον των δύο υιών του Ααρών, ότε έκαμον προσφοράν ενώπιον του Κυρίου και απέθανον· 2και είπε Κύριος προς τον Μωϋσήν, Λάλησον προς Ααρών τον αδελφόν σου, να μη εισέρχηται πάσαν ώραν εις το αγιαστήριον το ένδοθεν του καταπετάσματος έμπροσθεν του ιλαστηρίου του επί της κιβωτού, διά να μη αποθάνη· διότι εν νεφέλη θέλω εμφανίζεσθαι επί του ιλαστηρίου. 3Ούτω θέλει εισέρχεσθαι ο Ααρών εις το αγιαστήριον, μετά μόσχου εκ βοών διά προσφοράν περί αμαρτίας και κριού διά ολοκαύτωμα. 4Χιτώνα λινούν ηγιασμένον θέλει ενδύεσθαι, και περισκελή λινά θέλουσιν είσθαι επί της σαρκός αυτού, και ζώνην λινήν θέλει είσθαι εζωσμένος και μίτραν λινήν θέλει φορεί· ταύτα είναι ενδύματα άγια· και θέλει λούει εν ύδατι το σώμα αυτού και θέλει ενδύεσθαι αυτά. 5Και παρά της συναγωγής των υιών Ισραήλ θέλει λάβει δύο τράγους εξ αιγών διά προσφοράν περί αμαρτίας και ένα κριόν διά ολοκαύτωμα. 6Και θέλει προσφέρει ο Ααρών τον μόσχον της περί αμαρτίας προσφοράς, όστις είναι δι' εαυτόν, και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν υπέρ εαυτού και υπέρ του οίκου αυτού. 7Και θέλει λάβει τους δύο τράγους και στήσει αυτούς ενώπιον του Κυρίου εις την θύραν της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου. 8Και θέλει ρίψει ο Ααρών κλήρους επί τους δύο τράγους· ένα κλήρον διά τον Κύριον και ένα κλήρον διά τον τράγον τον απολυτέον. 9Και θέλει φέρει ο Ααρών τον τράγον, επί του οποίου έπεσεν ο κλήρος του Κυρίου, και θέλει προσφέρει αυτόν διά προσφοράν περί αμαρτίας. 10Τον δε τράγον, επί του οποίου έπεσεν ο κλήρος του να απολυθή, θέλει στήσει ζώντα ενώπιον του Κυρίου, διά να κάμη εξιλέωσιν επ' αυτού, ώστε να αποστείλη αυτόν απόλυτον εις την έρημον. 11Και θέλει φέρει ο Ααρών τον μόσχον της περί αμαρτίας προσφοράς, όστις είναι δι' εαυτόν, και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν υπέρ εαυτού και υπέρ του οίκου αυτού· και θέλει σφάξει τον μόσχον της περί αμαρτίας προσφοράς τον περί εαυτού. 12Και θέλει λάβει το θυμιατήριον πλήρες ανθράκων πυρός εκ του θυσιαστηρίου απ' έμπροσθεν του Κυρίου· και θέλει γεμίσει τας χείρας αυτού από ευώδους θυμιάματος λειοτριβημένον και θέλει φέρει αυτό ένδον του καταπετάσματος. 13Και θέλει βάλει το θυμίαμα επί το πυρ ενώπιον του Κυρίου, και θέλει καλύψει ο καπνός του θυμιάματος το ιλαστήριον το επί του μαρτυρίου, διά να μη αποθάνη. 14Και θέλει λάβει από του αίματος του μόσχου και ραντίσει διά του δακτύλου αυτού επί το ιλαστήριον κατά ανατολάς· και έμπροσθεν του ιλαστηρίου θέλει ραντίσει επτάκις από του αίματος διά του δακτύλου αυτού. 15Τότε θέλει σφάξει τον τράγον της περί αμαρτίας προσφοράς τον περί του λαού· και θέλει φέρει το αίμα αυτού ένδον του καταπετάσματος και θέλει κάμει το αίμα αυτού, καθώς έκαμε το αίμα του μόσχου, και θέλει ραντίσει αυτό επί το ιλαστήριον και έμπροσθεν του ιλαστηρίου. 16Και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν υπέρ του αγιαστηρίου διά τας ακαθαρσίας των υιών Ισραήλ, και διά τας παραβάσεις αυτών καθ' όλας αυτών τας αμαρτίας· και ούτω θέλει κάμει περί της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου, ήτις κατοικεί μεταξύ αυτών εν τω μέσω της ακαθαρσίας αυτών. 17Ουδείς δε άνθρωπος θέλει είσθαι εν τη σκηνή του μαρτυρίου, όταν αυτός εισέρχηται να κάμη εξιλέωσιν εις το αγιαστήριον, εωσού εξέλθη, αφού κάμη εξιλέωσιν υπέρ εαυτού και υπέρ του οίκου αυτού και υπέρ πάσης της συναγωγής του Ισραήλ. 18Τότε θέλει εξέλθει προς το θυσιαστήριον το ενώπιον του Κυρίου και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν περί αυτού· και θέλει λάβει από του αίματος του μόσχου και από του αίματος του τράγου και βάλει επί τα κέρατα του θυσιαστηρίου κύκλω. 19Και θέλει ραντίσει επ' αυτό από του αίματος διά του δακτύλου αυτού επτάκις και θέλει καθαρίσει αυτό, και αγιάσει αυτό από των ακαθαρσιών των υιών Ισραήλ. 20Αφού δε τελειώση να κάμνη εξιλέωσιν υπέρ του αγιαστηρίου και της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου και του θυσιαστηρίου, θέλει φέρει τον τράγον τον ζώντα· 21και θέλει επιθέσει ο Ααρών τας δύο χείρας αυτού επί την κεφαλήν του τράγου του ζώντος και θέλει εξομολογηθή επ' αυτού πάσας τας ανομίας των υιών Ισραήλ και πάσας τας παραβάσεις αυτών καθ' όλας αυτών τας αμαρτίας· και θέλει επιθέσει αυτάς εις την κεφαλήν του τράγου· και θέλει αποστείλει αυτόν διά χειρός διωρισμένου ανθρώπου εις την έρημον. 22Και θέλει βαστάσει ο τράγος εφ' εαυτού πάσας τας ανομίας αυτών εις γην ακατοίκητον· και θέλει απολύσει τον τράγον εις την έρημον. 23Και θέλει εισέλθει ο Ααρών εις την σκηνήν του μαρτυρίου και θέλει εκδυθή την λινήν στολήν, την οποίαν ενεδύθη εισερχόμενος εις το αγιαστήριον, και θέλει αποθέσει αυτήν εκεί· 24και θέλει λούσει το σώμα αυτού εν ύδατι εν τόπω αγίω και ενδυθή τα ιμάτια αυτού, και θέλει έλθει και προσφέρει το ολοκαύτωμα αυτού και το ολοκαύτωμα του λαού και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν περί εαυτού και περί του λαού. 25Το δε στέαρ της περί αμαρτίας προσφοράς θέλει καύσει επί του θυσιαστηρίου. 26Και ο αποστείλας τον τράγον τον απολυτέον θέλει πλύνει τα ιμάτια αυτού και λούσει το σώμα αυτού εν ύδατι και μετά ταύτα θέλει εισέλθει εις το στρατόπεδον. 27Τον δε μόσχον της περί αμαρτίας προσφοράς και τον τράγον της περί αμαρτίας προσφοράς, των οποίων το αίμα εισήχθη διά να γείνη εξιλέωσις εις το αγιαστήριον, θέλουσι φέρει έξω του στρατοπέδου· και θέλουσι καύσει εν τω πυρί τα δέρματα αυτών και το κρέας αυτών και την κόπρον αυτών. 28Και ο καίων αυτά θέλει πλύνει τα ιμάτια αυτού και λούσει το σώμα αυτού εν ύδατι και μετά ταύτα θέλει εισέλθει εις το στρατόπεδον. 29Και τούτο θέλει είσθαι εις εσάς νόμιμον αιώνιον· εις τον έβδομον μήνα, την δεκάτην του μηνός, θέλετε ταπεινώσει τας ψυχάς σας και δεν θέλετε κάμει ουδέν έργον ούτε ο αυτόχθων ούτε ο ξένος ο παροικών μεταξύ σας· 30διότι εν τη ημέρα ταύτη ο ιερεύς θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν διά σας, διά να σας καθαρίση, ώστε να ήσθε καθαροί από πασών των αμαρτιών υμών ενώπιον του Κυρίου. 31Σάββατον αναπαύσεως θέλει είσθαι εις εσάς, και θέλετε ταπεινώσει τας ψυχάς σας κατά νόμιμον αιώνιον. 32Και θέλει κάμει την εξιλέωσιν ο ιερεύς, ο χρισθείς και καθιερωθείς διά να ιερατεύη αντί του πατρός αυτού, και θέλει ενδυθή την λινήν στολήν, την στολήν την αγίαν. 33Και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν υπέρ του αγίου αγιαστηρίου και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν υπέρ της σκηνής του μαρτυρίου και υπέρ του θυσιαστηρίου· και θέλει κάμει εξιλέωσιν υπέρ των ιερέων και υπέρ παντός του λαού της συναγωγής. 34Και τούτο θέλει είσθαι εις εσάς νόμιμον αιώνιον, να κάμνητε εξιλέωσιν υπέρ των υιών Ισραήλ περί πασών των αμαρτιών αυτών άπαξ του ενιαυτού. Και έγεινε καθώς προσέταξεν ο Κύριος εις τον Μωϋσήν.

1Yahweh spoke to Moses, after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they drew near before Yahweh, and died; 2and Yahweh said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother, not to come at all times into the Most Holy Place within the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark; lest he die: for I will appear in the cloud on the mercy seat. 3“Aaron shall come into the sanctuary with a young bull for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. 4He shall put on the holy linen coat. He shall have the linen breeches on his body, and shall put on the linen sash, and he shall be clothed with the linen turban. They are the holy garments. He shall bathe his body in water, and put them on. 5He shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering. 6“Aaron shall offer the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house. 7He shall take the two goats, and set them before Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting. 8Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats; one lot for Yahweh, and the other lot for the scapegoat. 9Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for Yahweh, and offer him for a sin offering. 10But the goat, on which the lot fell for the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before Yahweh, to make atonement for him, to send him away for the scapegoat into the wilderness. 11“Aaron shall present the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and shall kill the bull of the sin offering which is for himself. 12He shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before Yahweh, and two handfuls of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil: 13and he shall put the incense on the fire before Yahweh, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the testimony, so that he will not die. 14He shall take some of the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times. 15“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with his blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat. 16He shall make atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so he shall do for the Tent of Meeting, that dwells with them in the midst of their uncleanness. 17No one shall be in the Tent of Meeting when he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place, until he comes out, and has made atonement for himself and for his household, and for all the assembly of Israel. 18“He shall go out to the altar that is before Yahweh and make atonement for it, and shall take some of the bull’s blood, and some of the goat’s blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar. 19He shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and make it holy from the uncleanness of the children of Israel. 20“When he has made an end of atoning for the Holy Place, the Tent of Meeting, and the altar, he shall present the live goat. 21Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is in readiness. 22The goat shall carry all their iniquities on himself to a solitary land, and he shall let the goat go in the wilderness. 23“Aaron shall come into the Tent of Meeting, and shall take off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the Holy Place, and shall leave them there. 24Then he shall bathe himself in water in a holy place, and put on his garments, and come out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people. 25The fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar. 26“He who lets the goat go for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp. 27The bull for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the Holy Place, shall be carried outside the camp; and they shall burn their skins, their flesh, and their dung with fire. 28He who burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp. 29“It shall be a statute to you forever: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and shall do no kind of work, the native-born, or the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you: 30for on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins you shall be clean before Yahweh. 31It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever. 32The priest, who is anointed and who is consecrated to be priest in his father’s place, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, even the holy garments. 33Then he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the Tent of Meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly. 34“This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel once in the year because of all their sins.” It was done as Yahweh commanded Moses.

1En de HEERE sprak tot Mozes, nadat de twee zonen van Aaron gestorven waren, als zij genaderd waren voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, en gestorven waren; 2De HEERE dan zeide tot Mozes: Spreek tot uw broeder Aaron, dat hij niet te allen tijde ga in het heilige, binnen den voorhang, voor het verzoendeksel, dat op de ark is, opdat hij niet sterve; want Ik verschijn in een wolk op het verzoendeksel. 3Hiermede zal Aaron in het heilige gaan: met een var, een jong rund ten zondoffer, en een ram ten brandoffer. 4Hij zal den heiligen linnen rok aandoen, en een linnen onderbroek zal aan zijn vlees zijn, en met een linnen gordel zal hij zich gorden, en met een linnen hoed bedekken; dit zijn heilige klederen; daarom zal hij zijn vlees met water baden, als hij ze zal aandoen. 5En aan de vergadering der kinderen Israels zal hij nemen twee geitenbokken ten zondoffer, en een ram ten brandoffer. 6Daarna zal Aaron den var des zondoffers, die voor hem zal zijn, offeren, en zal voor zich en voor zijn huis verzoening doen. 7Hij zal ook beide bokken nemen, en hij zal die stellen voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, aan de deur van de tent der samenkomst. 8En Aaron zal de loten over die twee bokken werpen: een lot voor den HEERE, en een lot voor den weggaanden bok. 9Dan zal Aaron den bok, op denwelken het lot voor den HEERE zal gekomen zijn, toebrengen, en zal hem ten zondoffer maken. 10Maar de bok, op denwelken het lot zal gekomen zijn, om een weggaande bok te zijn, zal levend voor het aangezicht des HEEREN gesteld worden, om door hem verzoening te doen; opdat men hem als een weggaanden bok naar de woestijn uitlate. 11Aaron dan zal den var des zondoffers, die voor hemzelven zal zijn, toebrengen, en voor zichzelven en voor zijn huis verzoening doen, en zal den var des zondoffers, die voor hemzelven zal zijn, slachten. 12Hij zal ook een wierookvat vol vurige kolen nemen van het altaar, van voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, en zijn handen vol reukwerk van welriekende specerijen, klein gestoten; en hij zal het binnen den voorhang dragen. 13En hij zal dat reukwerk op het vuur leggen, voor het aangezicht des HEEREN, opdat de nevel des reukwerks het verzoendeksel, hetwelk is op de getuigenis, bedekke, en dat hij niet sterve. 14En hij zal van het bloed van den var nemen, en zal met zijn vinger op het verzoendeksel oostwaarts sprengen; en voor het verzoendeksel zal hij zevenmaal met zijn vinger van dat bloed sprengen. 15Daarna zal hij den bok des zondoffers, die voor het volk zal zijn, slachten, en zal zijn bloed tot binnen in den voorhang dragen, en zal met zijn bloed doen, gelijk als hij met het bloed van den var gedaan heeft, en zal dat sprengen op het verzoendeksel, en voor het verzoendeksel. 16Zo zal hij voor het heilige, vanwege de onreinigheden der kinderen Israels, en vanwege hun overtredingen, naar al hun zonden, verzoening doen; en alzo zal hij doen aan de tent der samenkomst, welke met hen woont in het midden hunner onreinigheden. 17En geen mens zal in de tent der samenkomst zijn, als hij zal ingaan, om in het heilige verzoening te doen, totdat hij zal uitkomen; alzo zal hij verzoening doen, voor zichzelven, en voor zijn huis, en voor de gehele gemeente van Israel. 18Daarna zal hij tot het altaar, dat voor het aangezicht des HEEREN is, uitkomen, en verzoening voor hetzelve doen; en hij zal van het bloed van den var, en van het bloed van den bok nemen, en doen het rondom op de hoornen des altaars. 19En hij zal daarop van dat bloed met zijn vinger zevenmaal sprengen, en hij zal dat reinigen en heiligen van de onreinigheden der kinderen Israels. 20Als hij nu zal geeindigd hebben van het heilige, en de tent der samenkomst, en het altaar te verzoenen, zo zal hij dien levenden bok toebrengen. 21En Aaron zal beide zijn handen op het hoofd van den levenden bok leggen, en zal daarop al de ongerechtigheden der kinderen Israels, en al hun overtredingen, naar al hun zonden, belijden; en hij zal die op het hoofd des boks leggen, en zal hem door de hand eens mans, die voorhanden is, naar de woestijn uitlaten. 22Alzo zal die bok op zich al hun ongerechtigheden in een afgezonderd land wegdragen; en hij zal dien bok in de woestijn uitlaten. 23Daarna zal Aaron komen in de tent der samenkomst, en zal de linnen klederen uitdoen, die hij aangedaan had, als hij in het heilige ging, en hij zal ze daar laten. 24En hij zal zijn vlees in de heilige plaats met water baden, en zijn klederen aandoen; dan zal hij uitgaan, en zijn brandoffer, en het brandoffer des volks bereiden, en voor zich en voor het volk verzoening doen. 25Ook zal hij het vet des zondoffers op het altaar aansteken. 26En die den bok, welke een weggaande bok was, zal uitgelaten hebben, zal zijn klederen wassen, en zijn vlees met water baden; en daarna zal hij in het leger komen. 27Maar den var des zondoffers, en den bok des zondoffers, welker bloed ingebracht is, om verzoening te doen in het heilige, zal men tot buiten het leger uitvoeren; doch hun vellen, hun vlees en hun mest zullen zij met vuur verbranden. 28Die nu dezelve verbrandt, zal zijn klederen wassen, en zijn vlees met water baden; en daarna zal hij in het leger komen. 29En dit zal voor u tot een eeuwige inzetting zijn: gij zult in de zevende maand, op den tienden der maand, uw zielen verootmoedigen, en geen werk doen, inboorling noch vreemdeling, die in het midden van u als vreemdeling verkeert. 30Want op dien dag zal hij voor u verzoening doen, om u te reinigen; van al uw zonden zult gij voor het aangezicht des HEEREN gereinigd worden. 31Dat zal u een sabbat der rust zijn, opdat gij uw zielen verootmoedigt; het is een eeuwige inzetting. 32En de priester, dien men gezalfd, en wiens hand men gevuld zal hebben, om voor zijn vader het priesterambt te bedienen, zal de verzoening doen, als hij de linnen klederen, de heilige klederen, zal aangetrokken hebben. 33Zo zal hij het heilige heiligdom verzoenen, en de tent der samenkomst, en het altaar zal hij verzoenen; desgelijks voor de priesteren, en voor al het volk der gemeente zal hij verzoening doen. 34En dit zal u tot een eeuwige inzetting zijn, om voor de kinderen Israels van al hun zonden, eenmaal des jaars, verzoening te doen. En men deed, gelijk als de HEERE Mozes geboden had.
