Προς Κορινθίους Α' 5

1Γενικώς ακούεται ότι είναι μεταξύ σας πορνεία, και τοιαύτη πορνεία, ήτις ουδέ μεταξύ των εθνών ονομάζεται, ώστε να έχη τις την γυναίκα του πατρός αυτού. 2Και σεις είσθε πεφυσιωμένοι, και δεν επενθήσατε μάλλον, διά να εκβληθή εκ μέσου υμών ο πράξας το έργον τούτο. 3Διότι εγώ ως απών κατά το σώμα, παρών όμως κατά το πνεύμα, έκρινα ήδη ως παρών τον ούτω πράξαντα τούτο, 4εν τω ονόματι του Κυρίου ημών Ιησού Χριστού αφού συναχθήτε σεις και το εμόν πνεύμα με την δύναμιν του Κυρίου ημών Ιησού Χριστού 5να παραδώσητε τον τοιούτον εις τον Σατανάν προς όλεθρον της σαρκός, διά να σωθή το πνεύμα αυτού εν τη ημέρα του Κυρίου Ιησού. 6Δεν είναι καλόν το καύχημά σας. Δεν εξεύρετε ότι ολίγη ζύμη κάμνει όλον το φύραμα ένζυμον; 7Καθαρίσθητε λοιπόν από της παλαιάς ζύμης, διά να ήσθε νέον φύραμα, καθώς είσθε άζυμοι. Διότι το πάσχα ημών εθυσιάσθη υπέρ ημών, ο Χριστός· 8ώστε ας εορτάζωμεν ουχί με ζύμην παλαιάν, ουδέ με ζύμην κακίας και πονηρίας, αλλά με άζυμα ειλικρινείας και αληθείας. 9Σας έγραψα εν τη επιστολή να μη συναναστρέφησθε με πόρνους, 10και ουχί διόλου με τους πόρνους του κόσμου τούτου ή με τους πλεονέκτας ή άρπαγας ή ειδωλολάτρας· επειδή τότε πρέπει να εξέλθητε από του κόσμου. 11Αλλά τώρα σας έγραψα να μη συναναστρέφησθε, εάν τις αδελφός ονομαζόμενος ήναι πόρνος ή πλεονέκτης ή ειδωλολάτρης ή λοίδορος ή μέθυσος ή άρπαξ· με τον τοιούτον μηδέ να συντρώγητε. 12Διότι τι με μέλει να κρίνω και τους έξω; δεν κρίνετε σεις τους έσω; 13Τους δε έξω ο Θεός θέλει κρίνει. Όθεν εκβάλετε τον κακόν εκ μέσου υμών.

1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife. 2You are puffed up, and didn’t rather mourn, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you. 3For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing. 4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump? 7Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place. 8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 9I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners; 10yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world. 11But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person. 12For what have I to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within? 13But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”

1Men hoort ganselijk, dat er hoererij onder u is, en zodanige hoererij, die ook onder de heidenen niet genoemd wordt, alzo dat er een zijns vaders huisvrouw heeft. 2En zijt gij nog opgeblazen, en hebt niet veel meer leed gedragen, opdat hij uit het midden van u weggedaan worde, die deze daad begaan heeft? 3Doch ik, als wel met het lichaam afwezend, maar tegenwoordig zijnde met den geest, heb alrede, als of ik tegenwoordig ware, dengene, die dat alzo bedreven heeft, besloten, 4In den Naam van onzen Heere Jezus Christus, als gijlieden en mijn geest samen vergaderd zullen zijn, met de kracht van onzen Heere Jezus Christus, 5Denzulken over te geven aan den satan, tot verderf des vleses, opdat de geest behouden moge worden in den dag van den Heere Jezus. 6Uw roem is niet goed. Weet gij niet, dat een weinig zuurdesem het gehele deeg zuur maakt? 7Zuivert dan den ouden zuurdesem uit, opdat gij een nieuw deeg zijn moogt, gelijk gij ongezuurd zijt. Want ook ons Pascha is voor ons geslacht, namelijk Christus. 8Zo dan laat ons feest houden, niet in den ouden zuurdesem, noch in den zuurdesem der kwaadheid en der boosheid, maar in de ongezuurde broden der oprechtheid en der waarheid. 9Ik heb u geschreven in den brief, dat gij u niet zoudt vermengen met de hoereerders; 10Doch niet geheellijk met de hoereerders dezer wereld, of met de gierigaards, of met de rovers, of met de afgodendienaars; want anders zoudt gij moeten uit de wereld gaan. 11Maar nu heb ik u geschreven, dat gij u niet zult vermengen, namelijk indien iemand, een broeder genaamd zijnde, een hoereerder is, of een gierigaard, of een afgodendienaar, of een lasteraar, of een dronkaard, of een rover; dat gij met zodanig een ook niet zult eten. 12Want wat heb ik ook die buiten zijn te oordelen? Oordeelt gijlieden niet die binnen zijn? 13Maar die buiten zijn oordeelt God. En doet gij deze boze uit ulieden weg.
