Leviticus 26

1Nedělejte sobě modl, ani obrazu rytého, aneb sloupu nevyzdvihnete sobě, ani kamene malovaného v zemi vaší nestavějte, abyste se jemu klaněli; nebo já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš. 2Sobot mých ostříhejte, a svatyně mé se bojte: Já jsem Hospodin. 3Jestliže v ustanoveních mých choditi budete, a přikázaní mých ostříhajíce, budete je činiti: 4Tedy dám vám deště vaše časy svými, a země vydá úrody své, a stromoví polní vydá ovoce své, 5Tak že mlácení postihne vinobraní, a vinobraní postihne setí. I budete jísti chléb svůj do sytosti, a přebývati budete bezpečně v zemi své. 6Nebo dám pokoj v zemi, i budete spáti, a nebude, kdo by vás předěsil; vypléním i zvěř zlou z země, a meč nebude procházeti země vaší. 7Nýbrž honiti budete nepřátely své, a padnou před vámi od meče. 8Pět vašich honiti jich bude sto, a sto vašich honiti bude deset tisíců, i padnou nepřátelé vaši před vámi od meče. 9Nebo obrátím tvář svou k vám, a dám vám zrůst, a rozmnožím vás, a utvrdím smlouvu svou s vámi. 10A jísti budete úrody několikaleté, a když nové přijdou, staré vyprázdníte. 11Vzdělám příbytek svůj u prostřed vás, a duše má nebude vás nenáviděti. 12A procházeti se budu mezi vámi, a budu Bohem vaším, a vy budete lidem mým. 13Já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš, kterýž jsem vyvedl vás z země Egyptských, abyste jim nesloužili, a polámal jsem závory jha vašeho, abyste chodili prosti. 14Pakli nebudete mne poslouchati, a nebudete činiti všech přikázaní těchto, 15A jestli ustanovení má zavržete, a soudy mé zoškliví-li sobě duše vaše, tak abyste nečinili všech přikázaní mých, a zrušili byste smlouvu mou: 16Já také toto učiním vám: Uvedu na vás strach, souchotiny a zimnici pálčivou, což zkazí oči vaše, a bolestí naplní duši. Semeno své nadarmo síti budete, nebo nepřátelé vaši snědí je. 17Postavím zůřivou tvář svou proti vám, tak že poraženi budete od nepřátel svých, a panovati budou nad vámi ti, kteříž vás nenávidí. Utíkati budete, ano vás žádný nehoní. 18Jestliže ani tak poslouchati mne nebudete, tedy ještě sedmkrát více trestati vás budu pro hříchy vaše. 19A potru vyvýšenost síly vaší, a učiním nebe nad vámi jako železo, a zemi vaši jako měď. 20Nadarmo bude vynaložena síla vaše, nebo země vaše nevydá vám úrody své, a stromoví země nevydá ovoce svého. 21Jestliže pak se mnou maní zacházeti budete, a nebudete mne chtíti poslouchati, tedy přidám na vás sedmkrát více ran vedlé hříchů vašich. 22A pustím na vás zvěř polní, kteráž uvede na vás sirobu, a vyhubí hovada vaše a umenší vás; i zpustnou cesty vaše. 23Pakli ani potom nenapravíte se, ale vždy se mnou maní zacházeti budete, 24I já s vámi maní zacházeti budu, a bíti vás budu sedmkrát více pro hříchy vaše. 25A uvedu na vás meč, kterýž vrchovatě pomstí zrušení smlouvy. I shrnete se do měst svých; tam pošli mor mezi vás, a dáni budete v ruce nepřátelům. 26A když polámi vám hůl chleba, tedy deset žen péci bude chléb váš v peci jedné, a zase chléb váš odvažovati vám budou. Budete pak jísti, a nenasytíte se. 27Pakli i s tím nebudete mne poslouchati, ale předce maní se mnou zacházeti budete: 28I já také v hněvě maní s vámi zacházeti budu, a trestati vás budu i já sedmkrát více pro hříchy vaše. 29A budete jísti těla synů svých, a těla dcer svých. 30A zkazím výsosti vaše, a vypléním slunečné obrazy vaše, a skladu těla vaše na špalky ukydaných bohů vašich, a duše má bude vás nenáviděti. 31Města vaše dám v zpuštění, a učiním, aby zpustly svatyně vaše, aniž více zachutnám oběti vůně příjemné vaší. 32Já zpustím zemi, tak že ztrnou nad ní nepřátelé vaši, kteříž bydliti budou v ní. 33Vás pak rozptýlím mezi národy, a učiním, aby s dobytým mečem vás honili. I bude země vaše vyhubena, a města vaše zpustnou. 34A tehdy země užive sobot svých po všecky dny, v nichž pustá bude, vy pak budete v zemi nepřátel svých. Tehdáž, pravím, odpočine země, a užive sobot svých. 35Po všecky dny, v nichž pustá bude, odpočívati bude; nebo neodpočívala v soboty vaše, když jste vy bydlili v ní. 36Kteříž pak ještě pozůstanou z vás, uvedu strach na srdce jejich v krajinách nepřátel jejich, tak že zažene je chřest listu větrem chřestícího. I budou utíkati, rovně jako před mečem, a padnou, an jich žádný honiti nebude. 37A budou padati jeden přes druhého jakožto od meče, ač jich žádný honiti nebude; aniž kdo z vás bude moci ostáti před nepřátely svými. 38I zahynete mezi národy, a zžíře vás země nepřátel vašich. 39Kteříž pak pozůstanou z vás, svadnouti budou pro nepravost svou v zemi nepřátel vašich, ano i pro nepravosti otců vašich s nimi usvadnou. 40Ale jestliže budou vyznávati nepravost svou, a nepravost otců svých vedlé přestoupení svého, kterýmž přestoupili proti mně, a maní se mnou zacházeli, 41I já také že jsem maní s nimi zacházel, a uvedl je do země nepřátel jejich; jestliže, pravím, tehdáž poníží se srdce jejich neobřezané, a schválí pokutu nepravosti své: 42Tedy rozpomenu se na smlouvu svou s Jákobem, a na smlouvu svou s Izákem, i na smlouvu svou s Abrahamem rozpomenu se; také i na tu zemi pamětliv budu. 43Mezi tím země jsuc jich zbavena, užive sobot svých, kdyžto zpuštěna bude pro ně. Tehdáž oni schválí pokutu nepravosti své proto, že všelijak soudy mými pohrdali, a ustanovení má zošklivila sobě duše jejich. 44A však i tak, když by v zemi nepřátel svých byli, nezavrhl bych jich, a nezošklivil jich sobě, abych je měl do konce zkaziti, a zrušiti smlouvu svou s nimi; nebo já jsem Hospodin Bůh jejich. 45Ale rozpomenu se na ně pro smlouvu učiněnou s předky jejich, kteréž jsem vyvedl z země Egyptské před očima pohanů, abych jim byl za Boha: Já Hospodin. 46Ta jsou ustanovení a soudové, i zákonové, kteréž vydal Hospodin na hoře Sinai skrze Mojžíše, aby byli mezi ním a mezi syny Izraelskými.

1“‘You shall make for yourselves no idols, neither shall you raise up an engraved image or a pillar, neither shall you place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am Yahweh your God. 2“‘You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh. 3“‘If you walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; 4then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5Your threshing shall reach to the vintage, and the vintage shall reach to the sowing time. You shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. 6“‘I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one will make you afraid. I will remove evil animals out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land. 7You shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. 9“‘I will have respect for you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you. 10You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall move out the old because of the new. 11I will set my tent among you, and my soul won’t abhor you. 12I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you will be my people. 13I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves. I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright. 14“‘But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments; 15and if you shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhors my ordinances, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant; 16I also will do this to you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away. You will sow your seed in vain, for your enemies will eat it. 17I will set my face against you, and you will be struck before your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you; and you will flee when no one pursues you. 18“‘If you in spite of these things will not listen to me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins. 19I will break the pride of your power, and I will make your sky like iron, and your soil like brass. 20Your strength will be spent in vain; for your land won’t yield its increase, neither will the trees of the land yield their fruit. 21“‘If you walk contrary to me, and won’t listen to me, then I will bring seven times more plagues on you according to your sins. 22I will send the wild animals among you, which will rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number. Your roads will become desolate. 23“‘If by these things you won’t be reformed to me, but will walk contrary to me; 24then I will also walk contrary to you; and I will strike you, even I, seven times for your sins. 25I will bring a sword upon you that will execute the vengeance of the covenant. You will be gathered together within your cities, and I will send the pestilence among you. You will be delivered into the hand of the enemy. 26When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight. You shall eat, and not be satisfied. 27“‘If you in spite of this won’t listen to me, but walk contrary to me; 28then I will walk contrary to you in wrath. I will also chastise you seven times for your sins. 29You will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters. 30I will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul will abhor you. 31I will lay your cities waste, and will bring your sanctuaries to desolation. I will not take delight in the sweet fragrance of your offerings. 32I will bring the land into desolation; and your enemies that dwell therein will be astonished at it. 33I will scatter you among the nations, and I will draw out the sword after you. Your land will be a desolation, and your cities shall be a waste. 34Then the land will enjoy its Sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies’ land. Even then the land will rest and enjoy its Sabbaths. 35As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it didn’t have in your Sabbaths, when you lived on it. 36“‘As for those of you who are left, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. The sound of a driven leaf will put them to flight; and they shall flee, as one flees from the sword. They will fall when no one pursues. 37They will stumble over one another, as it were before the sword, when no one pursues. You will have no power to stand before your enemies. 38You will perish among the nations. The land of your enemies will eat you up. 39Those of you who are left will pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers they shall pine away with them. 40“‘If they confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary to me, 41I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their iniquity; 42then I will remember my covenant with Jacob; and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land. 43The land also will be left by them, and will enjoy its Sabbaths while it lies desolate without them: and they will accept the punishment of their iniquity; because, even because they rejected my ordinances, and their soul abhorred my statutes. 44Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them; for I am Yahweh their God; 45but I will for their sake remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am Yahweh.’” 46These are the statutes, ordinances and laws, which Yahweh made between him and the children of Israel in Mount Sinai by Moses.

1Gij zult ulieden geen afgoden maken; noch gesneden beeld, noch opgericht beeld zult gij u stellen, noch gebeelden steen in uw land zetten, om u daarvoor te buigen; want Ik ben de HEERE, uw God! 2Mijn sabbatten zult gij houden, en Mijn heiligdommen zult gij vrezen; Ik ben de HEERE! 3Indien gij in Mijn inzettingen wandelen, en Mijn geboden houden, en die doen zult; 4Zo zal Ik uw regens geven op hun tijd; en het land zal zijn inkomst geven, en het geboomte des velds zal zijn vrucht geven; 5En de dorstijd zal u reiken tot den wijnoogst, en de wijnoogst zal reiken tot den zaaitijd; en gij zult uw brood eten tot verzadiging toe, en gij zult zeker in uw land wonen. 6Ook zal Ik vrede geven in het land, dat gij zult te slapen liggen, en niemand zij, die verschrikke; en Ik zal het boos gedierte uit het land doen ophouden, en het zwaard zal door uw land niet doorgaan. 7En gij zult uw vijanden vervolgen; en zij zullen voor uw aangezicht door het zwaard vallen. 8Vijf uit u zullen honderd vervolgen, en honderd uit u zullen tien duizend vervolgen; en uw vijanden zullen voor uw aangezicht door het zwaard vallen. 9En Ik zal Mij tot u wenden, en zal u vruchtbaar maken, en u vermenigvuldigen; en Mijn verbond zal Ik met u bevestigen. 10En gij zult het oude, dat verouderd is, eten; en het oude zult gij vanwege het nieuwe uitbrengen. 11En Ik zal Mijn tabernakel in het midden van u zetten; en Mijn ziel zal van u niet walgen. 12En Ik zal in het midden van u wandelen, en zal u tot een God zijn, en gij zult Mij tot een volk zijn. 13Ik ben de HEERE, uw God, Die u uit het land der Egyptenaren uitgevoerd heb, opdat gij hun slaven niet zoudt zijn; en Ik heb de disselbomen van uw juk verbroken, en heb u doen rechtop staan. 14Maar indien gij Mij niet zult horen, en al deze geboden niet zult doen; 15En zo gij Mijn inzettingen zult smadelijk verwerpen, en zo uw ziel van Mijn rechten zal walgen, dat gij niet doet al Mijn geboden, om Mijn verbond te vernietigen; 16Dit zal Ik u ook doen, dat Ik over u stellen zal verschrikking, tering en koorts, die de ogen verteren en de ziel pijnigen; gij zult ook uw zaad te vergeefs zaaien, en uw vijanden zullen dat opeten. 17Daartoe zal Ik Mijn aangezicht tegen ulieden zetten, dat gij geslagen zult worden voor het aangezicht uwer vijanden; en uw haters zullen over u heerschappij hebben, en gij zult vlieden, als u iemand vervolgt. 18En zo gij Mij tot deze dingen toe nog niet horen zult, Ik zal nog daar toe doen, om u zevenvoudig over uw zonden te tuchtigen. 19Want Ik zal de hovaardigheid uwer kracht verbreken, en zal uw hemel als ijzer maken, en uw aarde als koper. 20En uw macht zal ijdelijk verdaan worden; en uw land zal zijn inkomsten niet geven, en het geboomte des lands zal zijn vrucht niet geven. 21En zo gij met Mij in tegenheid wandelen zult, en Mij niet zult willen horen, zo zal Ik over u, naar uw zonden, zevenvoudig slagen toedoen. 22Want Ik zal onder u zenden het gedierte des velds, hetwelk u beroven, en uw vee uitroeien, en u verminderen zal; en uw wegen zullen woest worden. 23Indien gij nog door deze dingen Mij niet getuchtigd zult zijn, maar met Mij in tegenheid wandelen; 24Zo zal Ik ook met u in tegenheid wandelen, en Ik zal u ook zevenvoudig over uw zonden slaan. 25Want Ik zal een zwaard over u brengen, dat de wraak des verbonds wreken zal, zodat gij in uw steden vergaderd zult worden; dan zal Ik de pest in het midden van u zenden, en gij zult in de hand des vijands overgegeven worden. 26Als Ik u den staf des broods zal gebroken hebben, dan zullen tien vrouwen uw brood in een oven bakken, en zullen uw brood bij het gewicht wedergeven; en gij zult eten, maar niet verzadigd worden. 27Als gij ook hierom Mij niet horen zult, maar met Mij wandelen zult in tegenheid; 28Zo zal Ik ook met u in heetgrimmige tegenheid wandelen, en Ik zal u ook zevenvoudig over uw zonden tuchtigen. 29Want gij zult het vlees uwer zonen eten, en het vlees uwer dochteren zult gij eten. 30En Ik zal uw hoogten verderven, en uw zonnebeelden uitroeien, en zal uw dode lichamen op de dode lichamen uwer drekgoden werpen; en Mijn ziel zal aan u walgen. 31En Ik zal uw steden een woestijn maken, en uw heiligdommen verwoesten; en Ik zal uw liefelijken reuk niet rieken. 32Ja, Ik zal dat land verwoesten; dat uw vijanden, die daarin zullen wonen, zich daarover ontzetten zullen. 33Daartoe zal Ik u onder de heidenen verstrooien; en een zwaard achter u uittrekken; en uw land zal woest, en uw steden zullen een woestijn zijn. 34Dan zal het land aan zijn sabbatten een welgevallen hebben, al de dagen der verwoesting, en gij zult in het land uwer vijanden zijn; dan zal het land rusten, en aan zijn sabbatten een welgevallen hebben. 35Al de dagen der verwoesting zal het rusten, overmits het niet rustte in uw sabbatten, als gij daarin woondet. 36En aangaande de overgeblevenen onder u, Ik zal in hun hart een wekigheid in de landen hunner vijanden laten komen; zodat het geruis van een gedreven blad hen jagen zal, en zij zullen vlieden, gelijk men vliedt voor een zwaard, en zullen vallen, waar niemand is, die jaagt. 37En zij zullen de een op den ander als voor het zwaard vallen, waar niemand is, die jaagt; en gij zult voor het aangezicht uwer vijanden niet kunnen bestaan. 38Maar gij zult omkomen onder de heidenen, en het land uwer vijanden zal u verteren. 39En de overgeblevenen onder u zullen om hun ongerechtigheid in de landen uwer vijanden uitteren; ja, ook om de ongerechtigheden hunner vaderen zullen zij met hen uitteren. 40Dan zullen zij hun ongerechtigheid belijden, en de ongerechtigheid hunner vaderen met hun overtredingen, waarmede zij tegen Mij overtreden hebben, en ook dat zij met Mij in tegenheid gewandeld hebben. 41Dat Ik ook met hen in tegenheid gewandeld, en hen in het land hunner vijanden gebracht zal hebben. Zo dan hun onbesneden hart gebogen wordt, en zij dan aan de straf hunner ongerechtigheid een welgevallen hebben; 42Dan zal Ik gedenken aan Mijn verbond met Jakob, en ook aan Mijn verbond met Izak, en ook aan Mijn verbond met Abraham zal Ik gedenken, en aan het land zal Ik gedenken; 43Als het land om hunnentwil zal verlaten zijn geweest, en aan zijn sabbatten een welgevallen gehad hebben, wanneer het om hunnentwil verwoest was, en zij aan de straf hunner ongerechtigheid een welgevallen zullen gehad hebben; daarom, en omdat zij Mijn rechten hadden verworpen, en hun ziel van Mijn inzettingen gewalgd had. 44En hierenboven is dit ook; als zij in het land hunner vijanden zullen zijn, zal Ik hen niet verwerpen, noch van hen walgen, om een einde van hen te maken, vernietigende Mijn verbond met hen; want Ik ben de HEERE, hun God! 45Maar Ik zal hun ten beste gedenken aan het verbond der voorouderen, die Ik uit Egypteland voor de ogen der heidenen uitgevoerd heb, opdat Ik hun tot een God ware; Ik ben de HEERE! 46Dit zijn die inzettingen, en die rechten, en die wetten, welke de HEERE gegeven heeft, tussen Zich en tussen de kinderen Israels, op den berg Sinai, door de hand van Mozes.
