Leviticus 20

1Mluvil pak Hospodin k Mojžíšovi, řka: 2Synům také Izraelským díš: Kdo by koli z synů Izraelských a z příchozích, kteříž by byli pohostinu v Izraeli, dal z semene svého modle Moloch, smrtí umře. Lid země té kamením jej uhází. 3Nebo já postavím tvář svou proti takovému, a vyhladím ho z prostředku lidu jeho, proto že z semene svého dal modle Moloch, a tak zprznil svatyni mou, a poškvrnil jména svatosti mé. 4Jestliže by pak lid země té všelijak přehlídal to na člověku tom, kterýž by dal z semene svého modle Moloch, a nezahubil by ho: 5Tedy já postavím tvář svou proti muži tomu a proti čeledi jeho, a vyhladím ho i všecky, kteříž smilníce, odcházeli po něm, aby smilnili, následujíce Molocha, z prostředku lidu jeho. 6Duše, kteráž by se obrátila k hadačům a věšťcům, aby smilnila, postupujíc po nich: postavím tvář svou proti duši té, a vyhladím ji z prostředku lidu jejího. 7A protož posvěťte se a buďte svatí, nebo já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš. 8A ostříhejte ustanovení mých, a čiňte je: Já jsem Hospodin posvětitel váš. 9Kdož by koli zlořečil otci svému neb matce své, smrtí umře. Otci svému a matce své zlořečil, krev jeho bude na něm. 10Muž pak, kterýž by se cizoložství dopustil s ženou něčí, že zcizoložil s ženou bližního svého, smrtí umře cizoložník ten i cizoložnice. 11A kdož by koli obcoval s ženou otce svého, hanbu otce svého odkryl. Smrtí umrou oba dva, krev jejich bude na ně. 12Kdož by pak obcoval s nevěstou svou, smrtí umrou oba dva. Mrzkosti se dopustili, krev jejich bude na ně. 13A kdož by se scházel s pohlavím mužským jako s ženou, ohavnost učinili oba dva. Smrtí umrou, krev jejich bude na ně. 14A kdož by vzal ženu a matku její, nešlechetnost jest. Ohněm spálí i jej i je, aby nebylo nešlechetností u prostřed vás. 15Kdož by pak obcoval s hovadem, smrtí umře, a hovado zabijete. 16Tolikéž žena, kteráž by přistoupila k některému hovadu, aby obcovala s ním, zabiješ ji i to hovado. Smrtí umrou, krev jejich bude na ně. 17Kdož by koli vezma sestru svou, dceru otce svého, aneb dceru matky své, viděl by hanbu její, a ona také viděla by hanbu jeho, mrzkost jest. Protož vyhlazeni budou před očima synů lidu svého; nebo hanbu sestry své odkryl, nepravost svou ponese. 18A kdož by koli spal s ženou v její nemoci a obnažil by hanbu její, a tok její by odkryl, i ona ukázala by krvotok svůj: vyhlazeni budou oba z prostředku lidu svého. 19Hanby sestry matky své a sestry otce svého neodkryješ. Nebo kdož by to učinil, krevní přítelkyni svou by obnažil; protož nepravost svou ponesou. 20Kdož by pak spal s ženou strýce svého, hanbu strýce svého odkryl. Ponesou hřích svůj, bez dětí zemrou. 21Tolikéž kdož by vzal manželku bratra svého, mrzkost jest. Hanbu bratra svého obnažil, protož bez dětí budou. 22Ostříhejtež tedy všech ustanovení mých a všech soudů mých, a čiňte je, aby nevyvrátila vás země, do níž já uvozuji vás, abyste v ní bydlili. 23Aniž choďte v ustanoveních národu toho, kterýž já vyvrhu od tváři vaší; nebo všecky ty věci činili, a měl jsem je v ošklivosti. 24Vám jsem pak řekl: Vládnouti budete zemí jejich, a já dám ji vám, abyste ji dědičně obdrželi, zemi tekoucí mlékem a strdí. Já jsem Hospodin Bůh váš, kterýž jsem vás oddělil od jiných národů. 25Protož vy mějte rozdíl mezi hovadem čistým a nečistým, a mezi ptákem čistým a nečistým, a nepoškvrňujte duší svých hovady a ptactvem, a tím vším, což se plazí po zemi, kteréž jsem já vám oddělil, abyste je měli za nečisté. 26Ale budete mi svatí; nebo svatý jsem já Hospodin, a oddělil jsem vás od jiných národů, abyste byli moji. 27Muž pak neb žena, kteříž by měli ducha čarodějného a věštího, smrtí umrou. Kamením uházejí je, krev jejich bude na ně.

1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2“Moreover, you shall tell the children of Israel, ‘Anyone of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners in Israel, who gives any of his seed to Molech; he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. 3I also will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people because he has given of his seed to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. 4If the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person, when he gives of his seed to Molech, and don’t put him to death; 5then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all who play the prostitute after him, to play the prostitute with Molech, from among their people. 6“‘The person that turns to those who are mediums, and to the wizards, to play the prostitute after them, I will even set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people. 7“‘Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am Yahweh your God. 8You shall keep my statutes, and do them. I am Yahweh who sanctifies you. 9“‘For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him. 10“‘The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. 11“‘The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. 12“‘If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have committed a perversion; their blood shall be upon them. 13“‘If a man lies with a male, as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. 14“‘If a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burned with fire, both he and they; that there may be no wickedness among you. 15“‘If a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death; and you shall kill the animal. 16“‘If a woman approaches any animal, and lies down with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. 17“‘If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness; it is a shameful thing. They shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness. He shall bear his iniquity. 18“‘If a man lies with a woman having her monthly period, and uncovers her nakedness; he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people. 19“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, nor of your father’s sister; for he has made his close relative naked. They shall bear their iniquity. 20If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They shall bear their sin. They shall die childless. 21“‘If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an impurity. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They shall be childless. 22“‘You shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my ordinances, and do them; that the land, where I am bringing you to dwell, may not vomit you out. 23You shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I am casting out before you: for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. 24But I have said to you, “You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am Yahweh your God, who has separated you from the peoples. 25“‘You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean: and you shall not make yourselves abominable by animal, or by bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have separated from you as unclean for you. 26You shall be holy to me; for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine. 27“‘A man or a woman that is a medium, or is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.’”

1Verder sprak de HEERE tot Mozes, zeggende: 2Gij zult ook tot de kinderen Israels zeggen: Een ieder uit de kinderen Israels, of uit de vreemdelingen, die in Israel als vreemdelingen verkeren, die van zijn zaad den Molech gegeven zal hebben, zal zekerlijk gedood worden; het volk des lands zal hem met stenen stenigen. 3En Ik zal Mijn aangezicht tegen dien man zetten, en zal hem uit het midden zijns volks uitroeien; want hij heeft van zijn zaad den Molech gegeven, opdat hij Mijn heiligdom ontreinigen, en Mijn heiligen Naam ontheiligen zou. 4En indien het volk des lands hun ogen enigzins verbergen zal van dien man, als hij van zijn zaad den Molech zal gegeven hebben, dat het hem niet dode; 5Zo zal Ik Mijn aangezicht tegen dien man en tegen zijn huisgezin zetten, en Ik zal hem, en al degenen, die hem nahoereren, om den Molech na te hoereren, uit het midden huns volks uitroeien. 6Wanneer er een ziel is, die zich tot de waarzeggers en tot de duivelskunstenaars zal gekeerd hebben, om die na te hoereren, zo zal Ik Mijn aangezicht tegen die ziel zetten, en zal ze uit het midden haars volks uitroeien. 7Daarom heiligt u, en weest heilig; want Ik ben de HEERE, uw God! 8En onderhoudt Mijn inzettingen, en doet dezelve; Ik ben de HEERE, Die u heilige. 9Als er iemand is, die zijn vader of zijn moeder zal gevloekt hebben, die zal zekerlijk gedood worden; hij heeft zijn vader of zijn moeder gevloekt; zijn bloed is op hem! 10Een man ook, die met iemands huisvrouw overspel zal gedaan hebben, dewijl hij met zijns naasten vrouw overspel gedaan heeft, zal zekerlijk gedood worden, de overspeler en de overspeelster. 11En een man, die bij zijns vaders huisvrouw zal gelegen hebben, heeft zijns vaders schaamte ontdekt; zij beiden zullen zekerlijk gedood worden; hun bloed is op hen! 12Insgelijks, als de man bij de vrouw zijns zoons zal gelegen hebben, zij zullen beiden zekerlijk gedood worden; zij hebben een gruwelijke vermenging gedaan; hun bloed is op hen! 13Wanneer ook een man bij een manspersoon zal gelegen hebben, met vrouwelijke bijligging, zij hebben beiden een gruwel gedaan; zij zullen zekerlijk gedood worden; hun bloed is op hen! 14En wanneer een man een vrouw en haar moeder zal genomen hebben, het is een schandelijke daad; men zal hem, en diezelve met vuur verbranden, opdat geen schandelijke daad in het midden van u zij. 15Daartoe als een man bij enig vee zal gelegen hebben, hij zal zekerlijk gedood worden; ook zult gijlieden het beest doden. 16Alzo wanneer een vrouw tot enig beest genaderd zal zijn, om daarmede te doen te hebben, zo zult gij die vrouw en dat beest doden; zij zullen zekerlijk gedood worden; hun bloed is op hen! 17En als een man zijn zuster, de dochter zijns vaders, of de dochter zijner moeder, zal genomen hebben, en hij haar schaamte gezien, en zij zijn schaamte zal gezien hebben, het is een schandvlek; daarom zullen zij voor de ogen van de kinderen huns volks uitgeroeid worden; hij heeft de schaamte zijner zuster ontdekt, hij zal zijn ongerechtigheid dragen. 18En als een man bij een vrouw, die haar krankheid heeft, zal gelegen en haar schaamte ontdekt, haar fontein ontbloot, en zij zelve de fontein haars bloeds ontdekt zal hebben, zo zullen zij beiden uit het midden huns volks uitgeroeid worden. 19Daartoe zult gij de schaamte van de zuster uwer moeder, en van de zuster uws vaders niet ontdekken; dewijl hij zijn nabestaande ontbloot heeft, zullen zij hun ongerechtigheid dragen. 20Als ook een man bij zijn moei zal gelegen hebben, hij heeft de schaamte zijns ooms ontdekt; zij zullen hun zonde dragen; zonder kinderen zullen zij sterven. 21En wanneer een man zijns broeders huisvrouw zal genomen hebben, het is onreinigheid; hij heeft de schaamte zijns broeders ontdekt; zij zullen zonder kinderen zijn. 22Onderhoudt dan al Mijn inzettingen en al Mijn rechten, en doet dezelve; opdat u dat land, waarheen Ik u brenge, om daarin te wonen, niet uitspuwe. 23En wandelt niet in de inzettingen des volks, hetwelk Ik voor uw aangezicht uitwerp; want al deze dingen hebben zij gedaan; daarom ben Ik op hen verdrietig geworden. 24En Ik heb u gezegd: Gij zult hun land erfelijk bezitten, en Ik zal u dat geven, opdat gij hetzelve erfelijk bezit, een land vloeiende van melk en honig; Ik ben de HEERE, uw God, Die u van de volken afgezonderd heb! 25Daarom zult gij onderscheid maken tussen reine en onreine beesten, en tussen het onreine en reine gevogelte; en gij zult uw zielen niet verfoeilijk maken aan de beesten en aan het gevogelte, en aan al wat op den aardbodem kruipt, hetwelk Ik voor u afgezonderd heb, opdat gij het onrein houdt. 26En gij zult Mij heilig zijn, want Ik, de HEERE, ben heilig; en Ik heb u van de volken afgezonderd, opdat gij Mijns zoudt zijn. 27Als nu een man en vrouw in zich een waarzeggenden geest zal hebben, of een duivelskunstenaar zal zijn, zij zullen zekerlijk gedood worden; men zal hen met stenen stenigen; hun bloed is op hen.
