Jeremjáš 35

1Slovo, kteréž se stalo k Jeremiášovi od Hospodina za dnů Joakima syna Joziášova, krále Judského, řkoucí: 2Jdi mezi Rechabitské, a promluvě s nimi, doveď je k domu Hospodinovu do jednoho z pokojů, a dej jim píti vína. 3Tedy pojav Jazaniáše syna Jeremiášova, syna Chabaciniášova, a bratří jeho i všecky syny jeho se vší rodinou Rechabitských, 4Dovedl jsem je k domu Hospodinovu do pokoje synů Chanana syna Igdaliášova, muže Božího, kterýž byl při pokoji knížat, jenž byl nad pokojem Maaseiáše syna Sallumova, ostříhajícího prahu. 5Potom postavě před syny domu Rechabitských koflíky plné vína a číše, i řekl jsem jim: Píte víno. 6Kteříž řekli: Nepíjíme vína. Nebo Jonadab syn Rechabův, otec náš, zapověděl nám, řka: Nepíjejte vína, vy, ani synové vaši na věky. 7A domu nestavějte, ani semene nerozsívejte, vinice také neštěpujte, ani mívejte, ale v staních přebývejte po všecky dny vaše, abyste živi byli mnoho dnů na tváři země, v níž pohostinu jste. 8Protož uposlechli jsme hlasu Jonadaba syna Rechabova, otce našeho, ve všem, což přikázal nám, abychom nepili vína po všecky dny své, my, manželky naše, synové naši, i dcery naše, 9Abychom nestavěli domů k bydlení svému, a vinice, ani rolí, ani nic osátého nemívali. 10Ale abychom bydlili v staních. Uposlechli jsme, pravím, a děláme všecko, jakž přikázal nám Jonadab otec náš. 11Stalo se pak, když vtrhl Nabuchodonozor král Babylonský do země, že jsme řekli: Poďte, a ujděme do Jeruzaléma před vojskem Kaldejským, a před vojskem Syrským. Takž bydlíme v Jeruzalémě. 12Tedy stalo se slovo Hospodinovo k Jeremiášovi, řkoucí: 13Takto praví Hospodin zástupů, Bůh Izraelský: Jdi a rci mužům Judským a obyvatelům Jeruzalémským: Což nepřijmete naučení, abyste poslouchali slov mých? dí Hospodin. 14K vykonání přichází všeliké slovo Jonadaba syna Rechabova, kterýž přikázal synům svým, aby nepili vína. Nepili zajisté až do tohoto dne, nebo poslouchají přikázaní otce svého. Já pak mluvím k vám, ráno přivstávaje, a to ustavičně, a však neposloucháte mne. 15Nadto posílám k vám všecky služebníky své proroky, ráno přivstávaje, a to ustavičně, říkaje: Navraťte se již jeden každý z cesty své zlé, a polepšte předsevzetí svých, a nechoďte za bohy cizími, sloužíce jim, a tak přebývejte v zemi této, kterouž jsem dal vám i otcům vašim: však nenakloňujete uší svých, aniž mne posloucháte. 16Ješto synové Jonadabovi syna Rechabova plní přikázaní otce svého, kteréž přikázal jim, lid pak tento neposlouchají mne. 17Protož takto praví Hospodin Bůh zástupů, Bůh Izraelský: Aj, já uvedu na Judu a na všecky obyvatele Jeruzalémské všecko to zlé, kteréž jsem vyřkl proti nim, proto že jsem mluvíval k nim, a neposlouchali, a volával jsem na ně, ale neohlásili se. 18Rodině pak Rechabitských řekl Jeremiáš: Takto praví Hospodin zástupů, Bůh Izraelský: Protože posloucháte přikázaní Jonadaba otce vašeho, a ostříháte všech přikázaní jeho, anobrž děláte všecko, jakž přikázal vám, 19Protož takto praví Hospodin zástupů, Bůh Izraelský: Nebudeť vypléněn muž z rodu Jonadabova syna Rechabova, ješto by nestál před oblíčejem mým po všecky dny.

1The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying, 2Go to the house of the Rechabites, and speak to them, and bring them into Yahweh’s house, into one of the rooms, and give them wine to drink. 3Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, and his brothers, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites; 4and I brought them into Yahweh’s house, into the room of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was by the room of the princes, which was above the room of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold. 5I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites bowls full of wine, and cups; and I said to them, Drink wine! 6But they said, We will drink no wine; for Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, commanded us, saying, You shall drink no wine, neither you, nor your sons, forever: 7neither shall you build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any; but all your days you shall dwell in tents; that you may live many days in the land in which you live. 8We have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, in all that he commanded us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, or our daughters; 9nor to build houses for us to dwell in; neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed: 10but we have lived in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us. 11But when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, we said, “Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians; so we will dwell at Jerusalem.” 12Then Yahweh’s word came to Jeremiah, saying, 13Thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Go, and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction to listen to my words? says Yahweh. 14The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons, not to drink wine, are performed; and to this day they drink none, for they obey their father’s commandment: but I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking; and you have not listened to me. 15I have sent also to you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and don’t go after other gods to serve them, and you shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but you have not inclined your ear, nor listened to me. 16Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father which he commanded them, but this people has not listened to me; 17therefore thus says Yahweh, the God of Armies, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring on Judah and on all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them; because I have spoken to them, but they have not heard; and I have called to them, but they have not answered. 18Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, Thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Because you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according to all that he commanded you; 19therefore thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me forever.

1Het woord, dat tot Jeremia geschied is van den HEERE, in de dagen van Jojakim, den zoon van Josia, den koning van Juda, zeggende: 2Ga henen tot der Rechabieten huis, en spreek met hen, en breng hen in des HEEREN huis, in een der kameren, en geef hun wijn te drinken. 3Toen nam ik Jaazanja, den zoon van Jeremia, den zoon van Habazzinja, mitsgaders zijn broederen, en al zijn zonen, en het ganse huis der Rechabieten; 4En bracht hen in des HEEREN huis, in de kamer der zonen van Hanan, den zoon van Jigdalia, den man Gods; welke is bij de kamer der oversten, die daar is boven de kamer van Maaseja, den zoon van Sallum, den dorpelbewaarder. 5En ik zette den kinderen van het huis der Rechabieten koppen vol wijn en bekers voor; en ik zeide tot hen: Drinkt wijn. 6Maar zij zeiden: Wij zullen geen wijn drinken; want Jonadab, de zoon van Rechab, onze vader, heeft ons geboden, zeggende: Gijlieden zult geen wijn drinken, gij, noch uw kinderen, tot in eeuwigheid. 7Ook zult gijlieden geen huis bouwen, noch zaad zaaien, noch wijngaard planten, noch hebben; maar gij zult in tenten wonen al uw dagen; opdat gij veel dagen leeft in het land, alwaar gij als vreemdeling verkeert. 8Zo hebben wij der stemme van Jonadab, den zoon van Rechab, onzen vader, gehoorzaamd in alles, wat hij ons geboden heeft; zodat wij geen wijn drinken al onze dagen, wij, onze vrouwen, onze zonen, en onze dochteren; 9En dat wij geen huizen bouwen tot onze woning; ook hebben wij geen wijngaard, noch veld, noch zaad; 10En wij hebben in tenten gewoond; alzo hebben wij gehoord en gedaan naar alles, wat ons onze vader Jonadab geboden heeft. 11Maar het is geschied, als Nebukadrezar, de koning van Babel, naar dit land optoog, dat wij zeiden: Komt, en laat ons naar Jeruzalem trekken vanwege het heir der Chaldeen, en vanwege het heir der Syriers; alzo zijn wij te Jeruzalem gebleven. 12Toen geschiedde des HEEREN woord tot Jeremia, zeggende: 13Zo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen, de God Israels: Ga henen en zeg tot de mannen van Juda en tot de inwoners van Jeruzalem: Zult gijlieden geen tucht aannemen, dat gij hoort naar Mijn woorden? spreekt de HEERE. 14De woorden van Jonadab, den zoon van Rechab, die hij zijn kinderen geboden heeft, dat zij geen wijn zouden drinken, zijn bevestigd; want zij hebben geen wijn gedronken tot op dezen dag, maar het gebod huns vaders gehoord; en Ik heb tot ulieden gesproken, vroeg op zijnde en sprekende, maar gij hebt naar Mij niet gehoord. 15En Ik heb tot u gezonden al Mijn knechten, de profeten, vroeg op zijnde en zendende, om te zeggen: Bekeert u toch, een iegelijk van zijn bozen weg, en maakt uw handelingen goed, en wandelt andere goden niet na, om hen te dienen, zo zult gij in het land blijven, dat Ik u en uw vaderen gegeven heb; maar gij hebt uw oor niet geneigd, en naar Mij niet gehoord. 16Dewijl dan de kinderen van Jonadab, den zoon van Rechab, het gebod huns vaders, dat hij hun geboden heeft, bevestigd hebben, maar dit volk naar Mij niet hoort; 17Daarom alzo zegt de HEERE, de God der heirscharen, de God Israels: Ziet, Ik zal over Juda en over alle inwoners van Jeruzalem brengen al het kwaad, dat Ik tegen hen gesproken heb; omdat Ik tot hen gesproken heb, maar zij niet gehoord hebben, en Ik tot hen geroepen heb, maar zij niet hebben geantwoord. 18Tot het huis nu der Rechabieten zeide Jeremia: Zo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen, de God Israels: Omdat gijlieden het gebod van uw vader Jonadab zijt gehoorzaam geweest, en hebt al zijn geboden bewaard, en gedaan naar alles, wat hij ulieden geboden heeft; 19Daarom alzo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen, de God Israels: Er zal Jonadab, den zoon van Rechab, niet worden afgesneden een man, die voor Mijn aangezicht sta, al de dagen.
