Михей 1

1Слово Господнє, що надійшло до Михея Морастія за Юдейських царів Йоатама, Ахаза й Езекії, а було йому обявлене про Самарию й Ерусалим: 2Слухайте, всї народи, вважай, земле, й уся її повня! Нехай буде Господь Бог сьвідком проти вас, Господь із сьвятого храму свого. 3Ось бо, Господь вийде з пробутку свого, зійде вниз і возьме під ноги високих на землї. 4Гори розтануться під ним і долини, як віск від огня, стопнїють, мов ті води, що ллються з гори. 5А все воно — за Яковову безбожність, за гріх дому Ізрайлевого. Від кого безбожність Яковова? хиба ж не від Самариї? Від кого висоти в Юди? хиба ж не від Ерусалиму? 6За се зроблю з Самариї купу розвалищ у полї, місцем, щоб на йому виногради садили; каміннє її позвергаю в долину, відкрию її підвалини. 7Всї ідоли її порозбиваю, й усї дари її любодїйні спалю огнем, та й усї боввани її передам на розбиваннє; бо вона їх із плати за блудництво построїла й пійдуть вони дарами до (другої) блудницї. 8Тим же то буду ридати-голосити; як ограблений і обнажений, — ходити; вити, як шакал, як струсї, — пищати. 9Болючий бо побій її дійде аж до Юди, наближиться до ворот мого народу, до Ерусалиму. 10Не пускайте ж про се поголоски хоч у Гетї, не голосїте там; ув оселї Офра покрийте себе попелом. 11Переселяйтесь (у неволю), Шафирські осадницї, стидовично понажені; не втече й осадниця Заананська; плач у Езелї не дасть вам зʼупинитись там. 12Оплакує своє добро осадниця Мароти, бо лихолїттє наближується й до воріт Ерусалимських. 13Запрягай в колесницю бистрих, ти, Лахиська осаднице, ти бо — початком гріхів дочки Сионової, в тобі бо появились перші проступки Ізраїля. 14Тим же то будеш ти посилати дари в Морешет-Гет; люде ж Ахзивські будуть оманом царям Ізраїлським. 15Я ще нашлю на тебе, осаднице Мореша, здобичника; він досягне до Оддоламу, — сієї слави Ізрайлевої. 16Ой обстрижи ж — обголи собі голову по дїтях твоїх, щиро коханих; розшири по них лисину, як орел, коли лїниться; бо переселять їх від тебе в неволю.

1Yahweh’s word that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. 2Hear, you peoples, all of you. Listen, O earth, and all that is therein: and let the Lord Yahweh be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 3For, behold, Yahweh comes out of his place, and will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. 4The mountains melt under him, and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like waters that are poured down a steep place. 5“All this is for the disobedience of Jacob, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the disobedience of Jacob? Isn’t it Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Aren’t they Jerusalem? 6Therefore I will make Samaria like a rubble heap of the field, like places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down its stones into the valley, and I will uncover its foundations. 7All her idols will be beaten to pieces, and all her temple gifts will be burned with fire, and all her images I will destroy; for of the hire of a prostitute has she gathered them, and to the hire of a prostitute shall they return.” 8For this I will lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will howl like the jackals, and moan like the daughters of owls. 9For her wounds are incurable; for it has come even to Judah. It reaches to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. 10Don’t tell it in Gath. Don’t weep at all. At Beth Ophrah I have rolled myself in the dust. 11Pass on, inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan won’t come out. The wailing of Beth Ezel will take from you his protection. 12For the inhabitant of Maroth waits anxiously for good, because evil has come down from Yahweh to the gate of Jerusalem. 13Harness the chariot to the swift steed, inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; For the transgressions of Israel were found in you. 14Therefore you will give a parting gift to Moresheth Gath. The houses of Achzib will be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel. 15I will yet bring to you, inhabitant of Mareshah. He who is the glory of Israel will come to Adullam. 16Shave your heads, and cut off your hair for the children of your delight. Enlarge your baldness like the vulture; for they have gone into captivity from you!

1Het woord des HEEREN, dat geschied is tot Micha, den Morastiet, in de dagen van Jotham, Achaz en Jehizkia, koningen van Juda; dat hij gezien heeft over Samaria en Jeruzalem. 2Hoort, gij volken altemaal! merk op, gij aarde, mitsgaders derzelver volheid! de Heere HEERE nu zal tot een getuige zijn tegen ulieden, de Heere uit den tempel Zijner heiligheid. 3Want ziet, de HEERE gaat uit van Zijn plaats, en Hij zal nederdalen en treden op de hoogten der aarde. 4En de bergen zullen onder Hem versmelten, en de dalen gekloofd worden, gelijk was voor het vuur, gelijk wateren, die uitgestort worden in de laagte. 5Dit alles, om de overtreding van Jakob, en om de zonden van het huis Israels; wie is het begin van de overtreding van Jakob? Is het niet Samaria? En wie van de hoogten van Juda? Is het niet Jeruzalem? 6Daarom zal Ik Samaria stellen tot een steenhoop des velds, tot plantingen eens wijngaards; en Ik zal haar stenen in de vallei storten, en haar fundamenten ontdekken. 7En al haar gesneden beelden zullen vermorzeld worden, en al haar hoerenbeloningen zullen met vuur verbrand worden, en al haar afgoden zal Ik stellen tot een woestheid; want zij heeft ze van hoerenloon vergaderd, en zij zullen tot hoerenloon wederkeren. 8Hierom zal ik misbaar bedrijven en huilen; ik zal beroofd en naakt gaan; ik zal misbaar maken als de draken, en treuren als de jonge struisen. 9Want haar plagen zijn dodelijk; want zij zijn gekomen tot aan Juda; hij is geraakt tot aan de poort mijns volks, tot aan Jeruzalem. 10Verkondigt het niet te Gath, weent zo jammerlijk niet; wentelt u in het stof in het huis van Afra. 11Ga door, gij inwoneres van Safir! met blote schaamte; de inwoneres van Zaanan gaat niet uit; rouwklage is te Beth-haezel; hij zal zijn stand van ulieden nemen. 12Want de inwoneres van Maroth is krank om des goeds wil; want een kwaad is van den HEERE afgedaald, tot aan de poort van Jeruzalem. 13Span de snelle dieren aan den wagen, gij inwoners van Lachis! (deze is der dochter Sions het beginsel der zonde) want in u zijn Israels overtredingen gevonden. 14Daarom geef geschenken aan Morescheth-Gaths; de huizen van Achzib zullen den koningen van Israel tot een leugen zijn. 15Ik zal u nog een erfgenaam toebrengen, gij inwoneres van Maresa! Hij zal komen tot aan Adullam, tot aan de heerlijkheid Israels. 16Maak u kaal en scheer u, om uw troetelkinderen; verwijd uw kaalheid, als de arend, omdat zij gevankelijk van u zijn weggevoerd.
