1О це ж ті, що царювали в тій землї, а сини Ізрайлеві осягли землю їх у державу: по тім боцї Йорданї на схід сонця, земля від Арнон-річки та й до Ермон-гір, і ввесь степ на схід сонця: 2Сигон, царь Аморійській, що царював у Гесбонї і панував над землею від Ароера, що при березї Арнон-річки, і над половиною Галаада до Есбок-річки, гряницї Аммонїйської, 3І над степом до моря Киннеритського на схід сонця та й до моря степового, Солоного моря, на схід сонця навпроти Бет-Ешимоту, а на полуднє над містами, що під Фасгою. 4А займище Огове, царя Базанського, що був з останнїх Рефалів-велетнїв і царював ув Астаротї й Едреї, 5І панував над Ермон-горами і Салхою і всїм Базаном до гряницї Гессурійської і Маахійської, і над половиною Галааду до границї Сигона, царя Гесбонського. 6Мойсей, раб Господень, та сини Ізрайлеві звоювали їх, а Мойсей, раб Господень, оддав ту землю у державу Рубенїям та Гадїям, та півколїнові Манассія. 7А се ті, що царювали в тій землї, що звоював Йозуа та сини Ізраїля по тім боцї Йорданї на захід сонця, від Баал-Гаду, в Ливан-долинї та й до Лисих гір, що тягнуться до Сеїру, і що їх землю надїлив Йозей поколїнням Ізрайлевим у державу після дїлениць їх, 8По горах, на подїллї, на підгіррях, у степу і на полуднї, землї Хеттіїв, Аморіїв, Канааніїв, Ферезіїв, Гевіїв і Евузіїв: 9Царь Ерихонський, один; царь Гайський, поблизу Бетеля, один; 10Царь Ерусалимський, один; царь Гебронський, один; 11Цар Ярмутський, один; царь Лахиський, один; 12Цар Еглонський, один; царь Гозерський, один; 13Царь Дабирський, один; царь Газерський, один; 14Царь Хормійський, один; царь Арадський, один; 15Царь Либенський, один; царь Адулламський, один; 16Царь Македський, один; царь Бетельський, один; 17Царь Таппуахський, один; царь Хеферський, один; 18Царь Афекський, один; царь Саронський, один; 19Царь Мадонський, один; царь Асорський, один; 20Царь Симрон-Меронський, один; царь Ахсафський, один; 21Царь Таанахський, один; царь Мегиддонський, один; 22Царь Кедеський, один; царь Йокнеамський коло Кармиля, один; 23Царь Дорський коло Нафат Дору, один; царь Гоїмський в Галатї, один; 24Царь Тирційський, один; усїх царів трийцять і один.

1Now these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel struck, and possessed their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah eastward: 2Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the middle of the valley, and half Gilead, even to the river Jabbok, the border of the children of Ammon; 3and the Arabah to the sea of Chinneroth, eastward, and to the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, eastward, the way to Beth Jeshimoth; and on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah: 4and the border of Og king of Bashan, of the remnant of the Rephaim, who lived at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, 5and ruled in Mount Hermon, and in Salecah, and in all Bashan, to the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon. 6Moses the servant of Yahweh and the children of Israel struck them. Moses the servant of Yahweh gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh. 7These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel struck beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal Gad in the valley of Lebanon even to Mount Halak, that goes up to Seir. Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions; 8in the hill country, and in the lowland, and in the Arabah, and in the slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the South; the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: 9the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one; 10the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one; 11the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one; 12the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one; 13the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one; 14the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one; 15the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one; 16the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one; 17the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one; 18the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lassharon, one; 19the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one; 20the king of Shimron Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one; 21the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one; 22the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one; 23the king of Dor in the height of Dor, one; the king of Goiim in Gilgal, one; 24the king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty-one.

1Dit nu zijn de koningen des lands, die de kinderen Israels geslagen hebben, en hun land erfelijk bezaten, aan gene zijde van de Jordaan, tegen den opgang der zon; van de beek Arnon af tot den berg Hermon, en het ganse vlakke veld tegen het oosten: 2Sihon, de koning der Amorieten, die te Hesbon woonde; die van Aroer af heerste, welke aan den oever der beek Arnon is, en over het midden der beek en de helft van Gilead, en tot aan de beek Jabbok, de landpale der kinderen Ammons; 3En over het vlakke veld tot aan de zee van Cinneroth tegen het oosten, en tot aan de zee des vlakken velds, de Zoutzee, tegen het oosten, op den weg naar Beth-Jesimoth; en van het zuiden beneden Asdoth-Pisga. 4Daartoe de landpale van Og, den koning van Bazan, die van het overblijfsel der reuzen was, wonende te Astharoth en te Edrei. 5En heerste over den berg Hermon, en over Salcha, en over geheel Bazan, tot aan de landpale der Gezurieten, en der Maachathieten; en de helft van Gilead, de landpale van Sihon, den koning van Hesbon. 6Mozes, de knecht des HEEREN, en de kinderen Israels sloegen hen, en Mozes, de knecht des HEEREN, gaf aan de Rubenieten en aan de Gadieten, en aan den halven stam van Manasse, dat land tot een erfelijke bezitting. 7Dit nu zijn de koningen des lands, die Jozua sloeg, en de kinderen Israels, aan deze zijde van de Jordaan tegen het westen, van Baal-Gad aan, in het dal van den Libanon, en tot aan den kalen berg, die naar Seir opgaat; en Jozua gaf het aan de stammen Israels tot een erfelijke bezitting, naar hun afdelingen. 8Wat op het gebergte, en in de laagte, en in het vlakke veld, en in de aflopingen der wateren, en in de woestijn, en tegen het zuiden was: de Hethieten, de Amorieten, en Kanaanieten, de Ferezieten, de Hevieten, en de Jebusieten. 9De koning van Jericho, een; de koning van Ai, die ter zijde van Beth-El is, een; 10De koning van Jeruzalem, een; de koning van Hebron, een; 11De koning van Jarmuth, een; de koning van Lachis, een; 12De koning van Eglon, een; de koning Gezer, een; 13De koning van Debir, een; de koning van Geder, een; 14De koning van Horma, een; de koning van Harad, een; 15De koning van Libna, een; de koning van Adullam, een; 16De koning van Makkeda, een; de koning van Beth-El, een; 17De koning van Tappuah, een; de koning van Hefer, een; 18De koning van Afek, een; de koning van Lassaron, een; 19De koning van Madon, een; de koning van Hazor, een; 20De koning van Simron-Meron, een; de koning van Achsaf, een; 21De koning van Taanach, een; de koning van Megiddo, een; 22De koning van Kedes, een; de koning van Jokneam, aan den Karmel, een; 23De koning van Dor, tot Nafath-Dor, een; de koning der heidenen te Gilgal, een; 24De koning van Thirza, een. Al deze koningen zijn een en dertig.
