1Пришли главы семейств от племени сынов Галаада, сына Махирова, сына Манассиина из племен сынов Иосифовых, и говорили пред Моисеем [и пред Елеазаром священником] и пред князьями, главами поколений сынов Израилевых, 2и сказали: Господь повелел господину нашему дать землю в удел сынам Израилевым по жребию, и господину нашему повелено от Господа дать удел Салпаада, брата нашего, дочерям его; 3если же они будут женами сынов которого-нибудь другого колена сынов Израилевых, то удел их отнимется от удела отцов наших и прибавится к уделу того колена, в котором они будут [женами], и отнимется от доставшегося по жребию удела нашего; 4и даже когда будет у сынов Израилевых юбилей, тогда удел их прибавится к уделу того колена, в котором они будут [женами], и от удела колена отцов наших отнимется удел их. 5И дал Моисей повеление сынам Израилевым, по слову Господню, и сказал: правду говорит колено сынов Иосифовых; 6вот что заповедует Господь о дочерях Салпаадовых: они могут быть женами тех, кто понравится глазам их, только должны быть женами в племени колена отца своего, 7чтобы удел сынов Израилевых не переходил из колена в колено; ибо каждый из сынов Израилевых должен быть привязан к уделу колена отцов своих; 8и всякая дочь, наследующая удел в коленах сынов Израилевых, должна быть женою кого-нибудь из племени колена отца своего, чтобы сыны Израилевы наследовали каждый удел отцов своих, 9и чтобы не переходил удел из колена в другое колено; ибо каждое из колен сынов Израилевых должно быть привязано к своему уделу. 10Как повелел Господь Моисею, так и сделали дочери Салпаадовы. 11И вышли дочери Салпаадовы Махла, Фирца, Хогла, Милка и Ноа в замужество за сыновей дядей своих; 12в племени сынов Манассии, сына Иосифова, они были женами, и остался удел их в колене племени отца их. 13Сии суть заповеди и постановления, которые дал Господь сынам Израилевым чрез Моисея на равнинах Моавитских, у Иордана, против Иерихона.

1The heads of the fathers’ households of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the heads of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel. 2They said, “Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel. My lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters. 3If they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So will it be taken away from the lot of our inheritance. 4When the jubilee of the children of Israel shall be, then will their inheritance be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.” 5Moses commanded the children of Israel according to Yahweh’s word, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph speaks right. 6This is the thing which Yahweh does command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them be married to whom they think best; only they shall marry into the family of the tribe of their father. 7So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel move from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. 8Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers. 9So shall no inheritance move from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance.’” 10The daughters of Zelophehad did as Yahweh commanded Moses: 11for Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father’s brothers’ sons. 12They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph. Their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father. 13These are the commandments and the ordinances which Yahweh commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

1En de hoofden der vaderen van het geslacht de kinderen van Gilead, den zoon van Machir, den zoon van Manasse, uit de geslachten der kinderen van Jozef, traden toe, en spraken voor het aangezicht van Mozes, en voor het aangezicht der oversten, hoofden van de vaderen der kinderen Israels. 2En zeiden: De HEERE heeft mijn heer geboden, dat land door het lot aan de kinderen Israels in erfenis te geven; en mijn heer is door den HEERE geboden, de erfenis van onzen broeder Zelafead te geven aan zijn dochteren. 3Wanneer zij een van de zonen der andere stammen van de kinderen Israels tot vrouwen zouden worden, zo zou haar erfenis van de erfenis onzer vaderen afgetrokken worden, en toegedaan zijn tot de erfenis van dien stam, aan welken zij geworden zouden; alzo zou van het lot onzer erfenis worden afgetrokken. 4Als ook de kinderen Israels een jubeljaar zullen hebben, zo zou haar erfenis toegedaan zijn tot de erfenis van dien stam, aan welken zij zouden geworden zijn; alzo zou haar erfenis van de erfenis van den stam onzer vaderen afgetrokken worden. 5Toen gebood Mozes den kinderen Israels, naar des HEEREN mond, zeggende: De stam der kinderen van Jozef spreekt recht. 6Dit is het woord, dat de HEERE van de dochteren van Zelafead geboden heeft, zeggende: Laat zij dien tot vrouwen worden, die in haar ogen goed zal zijn; alleenlijk, dat zij aan het geslacht van haars vaders stam tot vrouwen worden. 7Zo zal de erfenis van de kinderen Israels niet omgewend worden van stam tot stam; want de kinderen Israels zullen aanhangen, een ieder aan de erfenis van den stam zijner vaderen. 8Voorts zal elke dochter, die een erfenis erft, van de stammen der kinderen Israels, ter vrouw worden aan een van het geslacht van den stam haars vaders; opdat de kinderen Israels erfelijk bezitten, een ieder de erfenis zijner vaderen. 9Zo zal de erfenis niet omgewend worden van den enen stam tot den anderen; want de stammen der kinderen Israels zullen aanhangen, een ieder aan zijn erfenis. 10Gelijk als de HEERE Mozes geboden had, alzo deden de dochteren van Zelafead; 11Want Machla, Thirza, en Hogla, en Milka, en Noa, dochteren van Zelafead, zijn den zonen harer ooms tot vrouwen geworden. 12Onder de geslachten van de kinderen van Manasse, den zoon van Jozef, zijn zij tot vrouwen geworden; alzo bleef haar erfenis aan den stam van het geslacht haars vaders. 13Dat zijn de geboden en de rechten, die de HEERE door de dienst van Mozes aan de kinderen Israels geboden heeft, in de vlakke velden der Moabieten, aan de Jordaan van Jericho.
