1E o SENHOR disse a Noé: Entra tu e toda tua casa na arca porque a ti vi justo diante de mim nesta geração. 2De todo animal limpo tomarás de sete em sete, macho e sua fêmea; mas dos animais que não são limpos, dois, macho e sua fêmea. 3Também das aves dos céus de sete em sete, macho e fêmea; para guardar em vida a descendência sobre a face de toda a terra. 4Porque passados ainda sete dias, eu farei chover sobre a terra quarenta dias e quarenta noites; e apagarei toda criatura que fiz de sobre a face da terra. 5E fez Noé conforme tudo o que lhe mandou o SENHOR. 6E sendo Noé de seiscentos anos, o dilúvio das águas foi sobre a terra. 7E veio Noé, e seus filhos, e sua mulher, e as mulheres de seus filhos com ele à arca, por causa das águas do dilúvio. 8Dos animais limpos, e dos animais que não eram limpos, e das aves, e de todo o que anda arrastando sobre a terra, 9De dois em dois entraram a Noé na arca: macho e fêmea, como mandou Deus a Noé. 10E sucedeu que ao sétimo dia as águas do dilúvio foram sobre a terra. 11No ano seiscentos da vida de Noé, no mês segundo, no dia dezessete do mês, naquele dia foram rompidas todas as fontes do grande abismo, e as comportas dos céus foram abertas; 12E houve chuva sobre a terra quarenta dias e quarenta noites. 13Neste mesmo dia entrou Noé, e Sem, e Cam e Jafé, filhos de Noé, a mulher de Noé, e as três mulheres de seus filhos com ele na arca; 14Eles e todos os animais silvestres segundo suas espécies, e todos os animais mansos segundo suas espécies, e todo réptil que anda arrastando sobre a terra segundo sua espécie, e toda ave segundo sua espécie, todo pássaro, toda espécie de animal voador. 15E vieram a Noé à arca, de dois em dois de toda carne em que havia espírito de vida. 16E os que vieram, macho e fêmea de toda carne vieram, como lhe havia mandado Deus: e o SENHOR lhe fechou a porta 17E foi o dilúvio quarenta dias sobre a terra; e as águas cresceram, e levantaram a arca, e se elevou sobre a terra. 18E prevaleceram as águas, e cresceram em grande maneira sobre a terra; e andava a arca sobre a face das águas. 19E as águas prevaleceram muito em extremo sobre a terra; e todos os montes altos que havia debaixo de todos os céus, foram cobertos. 20Quinze côvados em altura prevaleceram as águas; e foram cobertos os montes. 21E morreu toda carne que se move sobre a terra, tanto de aves como de gados, e de animais, e de todo réptil que anda arrastando sobre a terra, e todo ser humano: 22Tudo o que tinha fôlego de espírito de vida em suas narinas, de tudo o que havia na terra, morreu. 23Assim foi destruída toda criatura que vivia sobre a face da terra, desde o ser humano até o animal, e os répteis, e as aves do céu; e foram apagados da terra; e restou somente Noé, e os que com ele estavam na arca. 24E prevaleceram as águas sobre a terra cento e cinquenta dias.
1Yahweh said to Noah, “Come with all of your household into the ship, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation. 2You shall take seven pairs of every clean animal with you, the male and his female. Of the animals that are not clean, take two, the male and his female. 3Also of the birds of the sky, seven and seven, male and female, to keep seed alive on the surface of all the earth. 4In seven days, I will cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. Every living thing that I have made, I will destroy from the surface of the ground.” 5Noah did everything that Yahweh commanded him. 6Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth. 7Noah went into the ship with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, because of the floodwaters. 8Clean animals, unclean animals, birds, and everything that creeps on the ground 9went by pairs to Noah into the ship, male and female, as God commanded Noah. 10After the seven days, the floodwaters came on the earth. 11In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep were burst open, and the sky’s windows were opened. 12It rained on the earth forty days and forty nights. 13In the same day Noah, and Shem, Ham, and Japheth—the sons of Noah—and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ship— 14they, and every animal after its kind, all the livestock after their kind, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, every bird of every sort. 15Pairs from all flesh with the breath of life in them went to Noah into the ship. 16Those who went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him; then Yahweh shut him in. 17The flood was forty days on the earth. The waters increased, and lifted up the ship, and it was lifted up above the earth. 18The waters rose, and increased greatly on the earth; and the ship floated on the surface of the waters. 19The waters rose very high on the earth. All the high mountains that were under the whole sky were covered. 20The waters rose fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered. 21All flesh died that moved on the earth, including birds, livestock, animals, every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. 22All on the dry land, in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died. 23Every living thing was destroyed that was on the surface of the ground, including man, livestock, creeping things, and birds of the sky. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ship. 24The waters flooded the earth one hundred fifty days.

En de HEERE sloot achter hem toe. 17En die vloed was veertig dagen op de aarde, en de wateren vermeerderden, en hieven de ark op, zodat zij oprees boven de aarde. 18En de wateren namen de overhand, en vermeerderden zeer op de aarde; en de ark ging op de wateren. 19En de wateren namen gans zeer de overhand op de aarde, zodat alle hoge bergen, die onder den ganse hemel zijn, bedekt werden. 20Vijftien ellen omhoog namen de wateren de overhand, en de bergen werden bedekt. 21En alle vlees, dat zich op de aarde roerde, gaf den geest, van het gevogelte, en van het vee, en van het wild gedierte, en van al het kruipend gedierte, dat op de aarde kroop, en alle mens. 22Al wat een adem des geestes des levens in zijn neusgaten had, van alles wat op het droge was, is gestorven. 23Alzo werd verdelgd al wat bestond, dat op den aardbodem was, van den mens aan tot het vee, tot het kruipend gedierte, en tot het gevogelte des hemels, en zij werden verdelgd van de aarde; doch Noach alleen bleef over, en wat met hem in de ark was. 24En de wateren hadden de overhand boven de aarde, honderd en vijftig dagen.
