1 Korintus 16

1Sekarang tentang pengumpulan uang untuk orang-orang kudus, lakukanlah sesuai dengan petunjuk-petunjuk yang kuberikan kepada jemaat di Galatia. 2Pada hari pertama setiap minggu, masing-masing kamu menyisihkan sesuatu dan menyimpannya sesuai dengan yang kamu peroleh supaya jangan ketika aku datang baru diadakan pengumpulan. 3Ketika aku datang, aku akan mengutus mereka, siapa pun yang kamu setujui, disertai dengan surat-surat untuk membawa pemberianmu ke Yerusalem. 4Dan, jika sepatutnya aku juga pergi, mereka akan pergi bersamaku. 5Namun, aku akan datang kepadamu setelah aku melewati Makedonia karena aku bermaksud untuk melewati Makedonia. 6Dan, mungkin aku akan tinggal bersamamu atau menghabiskan waktu selama musim dingin supaya kamu dapat membantuku dalam perjalananku, ke mana pun aku pergi. 7Sebab, aku tidak mau melihatmu sekarang hanya sepintas lalu. Aku berharap tinggal beberapa saat denganmu, jika Tuhan mengizinkannya. 8Namun, aku akan tinggal di Efesus sampai hari Pentakosta, 9karena pintu yang lebar untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan yang penting telah terbuka bagiku sekalipun ada banyak yang berlawanan. 10Sekarang, jika Timotius datang, perhatikanlah supaya ia tidak merasa takut ketika bersamamu karena ia melakukan pekerjaan Tuhan, sama seperti aku juga. 11Jadi, jangan ada orang yang memandangnya rendah. Bantulah dia dalam perjalanannya dengan damai agar ia dapat kembali kepadaku. Aku menantikannya bersama dengan saudara-saudara di sini. 12Sekarang, tentang saudara kita Apolos, aku sangat mendorongnya untuk mengunjungi kamu bersama saudara-saudara yang lain, tetapi ia sama sekali tidak mau datang sekarang. Ia akan datang kalau ada kesempatan. 13Berhati-hatilah, berdirilah teguh dalam iman. Bertindaklah seperti laki-laki dan jadilah kuat. 14Biarlah semua yang kamu kerjakan, dilakukan dalam kasih. 15Aku mendesakmu, Saudara-saudara, (kamu tahu bahwa seluruh isi rumah Stefanus adalah buah-buah pertama di Akhaya, dan mereka telah mengabdikan diri mereka untuk pelayanan orang-orang kudus), 16supaya kamu juga tunduk terhadap orang-orang seperti ini dan terhadap setiap orang yang bekerja bersama dan berjerih lelah. 17Aku bersukacita atas kedatangan Stefanus, Fortunatus, dan Akhaikus karena mereka telah melengkapi apa yang kurang dari kamu. 18Sebab, mereka menyegarkan rohku dan rohmu. Oleh karena itu, hargailah orang-orang seperti itu. 19Jemaat-jemaat di Asia menyampaikan salam untuk kamu. Akwila dan Priskila menyampaikan salam hangat dalam Tuhan kepadamu, bersama dengan jemaat di rumah mereka. 20Semua saudara di sini mengirim salam untukmu. Ucapkan salam satu dengan yang lain dengan cium kudus. 21Aku, Paulus, menulis salam ini dengan tanganku sendiri. 22Jika ada orang yang tidak mengasihi Tuhan, terkutuklah dia. Oh Tuhan, datanglah! 23Anugerah Tuhan Yesus menyertai kamu. 24Kasihku menyertai kamu semua dalam Yesus Kristus. Amin.

1Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I commanded the assemblies of Galatia, you do likewise. 2On the first day of the week, let each one of you save, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come. 3When I arrive, I will send whoever you approve with letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem. 4If it is appropriate for me to go also, they will go with me. 5But I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am passing through Macedonia. 6But with you it may be that I will stay, or even winter, that you may send me on my journey wherever I go. 7For I do not wish to see you now in passing, but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits. 8But I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost, 9for a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. 10Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do. 11Therefore let no one despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers. 12Now concerning Apollos, the brother, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers; and it was not at all his desire to come now; but he will come when he has an opportunity. 13Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong! 14Let all that you do be done in love. 15Now I beg you, brothers (you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints), 16that you also be in subjection to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labors. 17I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus; for that which was lacking on your part, they supplied. 18For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge those who are like that. 19The assemblies of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you much in the Lord, together with the assembly that is in their house. 20All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. 21This greeting is by me, Paul, with my own hand. 22If any man doesn’t love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. Come, Lord! 23The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. 24My love to all of you in Christ Jesus. Amen.

1Aangaande nu de verzameling, die voor de heiligen geschiedt, gelijk als ik aan de Gemeenten in Galatie verordend heb, doet ook gij alzo. 2Op elken eersten dag der week, legge een iegelijk van u iets bij zichzelven weg, vergaderende een schat, naar dat hij welvaren verkregen heeft; opdat de verzamelingen alsdan niet eerst geschieden, wanneer ik gekomen zal zijn. 3En wanneer ik daar zal gekomen zijn, zal ik hen, die gij zult bekwaam achten door brieven, zenden, om uw gave naar Jeruzalem over te dragen. 4En indien het der moeite waardig mocht zijn, dat ik ook zelf reizen zou, zo zullen zij met mij reizen. 5Doch ik zal tot u komen, wanneer ik Macedonie zal doorgegaan zijn, (want ik zal door Macedonie gaan); 6En ik zal mogelijk bij u blijven, of ook overwinteren, opdat gij mij moogt geleiden, waar ik zal henenreizen. 7Want ik wil u nu niet zien in het voorbijgaan, maar ik hoop enigen tijd bij u te blijven, indien het de Heere zal toelaten. 8Maar ik zal te Efeze blijven tot den pinkster dag. 9Want mij is een grote en krachtige deur geopend, en er zijn vele tegenstanders. 10Zo nu Timotheus komt, ziet, dat hij buiten vreze bij u zij; want hij werkt het werk des Heeren, gelijk als ik. 11Dat hem dan niemand verachte; maar geleidt hem in vrede, opdat hij tot mij kome; want ik verwacht hem met de broederen. 12En wat aangaat Apollos, den broeder, ik heb hem zeer gebeden, dat hij met de broederen tot u komen zou; maar het was ganselijk zijn wil niet, dat hij nu zou komen; doch hij zal komen, wanneer het hem wel gelegen zal zijn. 13Waakt, staat in het geloof, houdt u mannelijk, zijt sterk. 14Dat al uw dingen in de liefde geschieden. 15En ik bid u, broeders, gij kent het huis van Stefanas, dat het is de eersteling van Achaje, en dat zij zichzelven den heiligen ten dienst hebben geschikt; 16Dat gij ook u aan de zodanigen onderwerpt, en aan een iegelijk, die medewerkt en arbeidt. 17En ik verblijde mij over de aankomst van Stefanas, en Fortunatus, en Achaikus, want dezen hebben vervuld hetgeen mij aan u ontbrak; 18Want zij hebben mijn geest verkwikt, en ook den uwen. Erkent dan de zodanigen. 19U groeten de Gemeenten van Azie. U groeten zeer in den Heere Aquila en Priscilla, met de Gemeente, die te hunnen huize is. 20U groeten al de broeders. Groet elkander met een heiligen kus. 21De groetenis met mijn hand van Paulus. 22Indien iemand den Heere Jezus Christus niet liefheeft, die zij een vervloeking; Maran-atha! 23De genade van den Heere Jezus Christus zij met u. 24Mijn liefde zij met u allen in Christus Jezus.
