2 Korintským 6

1Protož napomáhajíce, i napomínáme vás, abyste milosti Boží nadarmo nebrali, 2(Neboť praví: V čas příhodný uslyšel jsem tě, a v den spasení spomohl jsem tobě. Aj, nyníť jest čas příhodný, aj, nyní dnové spasení.) 3Žádného nedávajíce v ničemž pohoršení, aby bylo bez ouhony přisluhování, 4Ale ve všem se chovajíce jako Boží služebníci, ve mnohé trpělivosti, v utištěních, v nedostatcích, v úzkostech, 5V ranách, v žalářích, v nepokojích, v pracech, v bděních, v postech, 6V čistotě, v umění, v dlouhočekání, v dobrotivosti, v Duchu svatém, v lásce neošemetné, 7V slovu pravdy, v moci Boží, skrze odění spravedlnosti na pravo i na levo, 8Skrze slávu i pohanění, skrze zlou i dobrou pověst, jako bludní, a jsouce pravdomluvní, 9Jako neznámí, a jsouce známí, jako umírající, a aj, živi jsme, jako potrestaní, a nezmordovaní, 10Jako smutní, a však se vždycky radujíce, jako chudí, však mnohé zbohacujíce, jako nic nemajíce, a však všemi věcmi vládnouce. 11Ústa naše otevřína jsou k vám, ó Korinští, srdce naše rozšířeno jest. 12Nejste v nás ssouženi, než ssouženi jste v střevách svých. 13O takovéžť pak odměně jakožto synům pravím: Rozšiřtež se i vy. 14Netáhněte jha s nevěřícími. Nebo jaký jest spolek spravedlnosti s nepravostí? A jaké obcování světla s temnostmi? 15A jaké srovnání Krista s Beliálem? Aneb jaký díl věrnému s nevěrným? 16A jaké spolčení chrámu Božího s modlami? Nebo vy jste chrám Boha živého, jakž pověděl Bůh: Přebývati budu v nich, a procházeti se, a budu jejich Bohem, a oni budou mým lidem. 17A protož vyjdětež z prostředku jejich, a oddělte se, praví Pán; a nečistého se nedotýkejte, a já přijmu vás. 18A budu vám za Otce, a vy mi budete za syny a za dcery, praví Pán všemohoucí.

1Working together, we entreat also that you not receive the grace of God in vain, 2for he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. 3We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed, 4but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses, 5in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings; 6in pureness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love, 7in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, 8by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; 9as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and not killed; 10as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. 11Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged. 12You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections. 13Now in return, I speak as to my children, you also be open wide. 14Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? 16What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, “I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” 17Therefore “‘Come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you. 18I will be to you a Father. You will be to me sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.”

1En wij, als medearbeidende, bidden u ook, dat gij de genade Gods niet tevergeefs moogt ontvangen hebben. 2Want Hij zegt: In den aangenamen tijd heb Ik u verhoord, en in den dag der zaligheid heb Ik u geholpen. Ziet, nu is het de welaangename tijd, ziet, nu is het de dag der zaligheid! 3Wij geven geen aanstoot in enig ding, opdat de bediening niet gelasterd worde. 4Maar wij, als dienaars van God, maken onszelven in alles aangenaam, in vele verdraagzaamheid, in verdrukkingen, in noden, in benauwdheden, 5In slagen, in gevangenissen, in beroerten, in arbeid, in waken, in vasten, 6In reinheid, in kennis, in lankmoedigheid, in goedertierenheid, in den Heiligen Geest, in ongeveinsde liefde, 7In het woord der waarheid, in de kracht van God, door de wapenen der gerechtigheid aan de rechter en aan de linker zijde; 8Door eer en oneer, door kwaad gerucht en goed gerucht; als verleiders, en nochtans waarachtigen; 9Als onbekenden, en nochtans bekend; als stervenden, en ziet, wij leven; als getuchtigd, en niet gedood; 10Als droevig zijnde, doch altijd blijde; als arm, doch velen rijk makende; als niets hebbende, en nochtans alles bezittende. 11Onze mond is opengedaan tegen u, o Korinthiers, ons hart is uitgebreid. 12Gij zijt niet nauw in ons, maar gij zijt nauw in uw ingewanden. 13Nu, om dezelfde vergelding te doen,, ik spreek als tot mijn kinderen) zo wordt gij ook uitgebreid. 14Trekt niet een ander juk aan met de ongelovigen; want wat mededeel heeft de gerechtigheid met de ongerechtigheid, en wat gemeenschap heeft het licht met de duisternis? 15En wat samenstemming heeft Christus met Belial, of wat deel heeft de gelovige met den ongelovige? 16Of wat samenvoeging heeft de tempel Gods met de afgoden? Want gij zijt de tempel des levenden Gods; gelijkerwijs God gezegd heeft: Ik zal in hen wonen, en Ik zal onder hen wandelen; en Ik zal hun God zijn, en zij zullen Mij een volk zijn. 17Daarom gaat uit het midden van hen, en scheidt u af, zegt de Heere, en raakt niet aan hetgeen onrein is, en Ik zal ulieden aannemen. 18En Ik zal u tot een Vader zijn, en gij zult Mij tot zonen en dochteren zijn, zegt de Heere, de Almachtige.
